Happy New Year to everyone at WOYWW. Hope you all enjoyed celebrating the old year out and the new year in. Well, I have done no crafting at all over the Christmas/New Year period except my blog page for the two Thursdays. Mind you the one for this week I did for the wrong challenge and luckily the change was able to be absorbed in - thank you so much Erika. I was just ready to start all over again when I saw the new challenge title. My page to be revealed tomorrow.
So wondering what to show you I decided to give you a bit of "Christmas before it comes down at ours". eg the tree - and a bit more:
the little one
in the hall with a tiny tree, and
Father Christmas (in a vintage car)
So I think tomorrow might see the start of it all coming down. :(
Had a steroid injection last Saturday in my thumb, not seen any improvement as yet but hopefully it will come and then I can start my new journal and continue with my old one plus my Lavinia one. The wound on my face is healing nicely and I can now leave the dressing off during the day so all seems well there. Happy New Year to me too.

Happy New Year Need, happy WOYWW. Glad to hear the face is improving and healing nicely. your trees look gorgeous. It's always sad when the decorations have to come down though, isn't it. I will do mine today or tomorrow. Helen #3
Your decorations are lovely! I hope your thumb gets better!

My Christmas stuff has all gone now and looking a bit bare. Now I need to follow Jan's example and have a really good sort out in my craft room. Happy New Year. x x Jo
Hi Neet, I think we have the same idea but it will have to wait until tomorrow as we have some travelling to do this morning, going to a funneral today. I do hope the thumb improves soon. Wishing you a very happy woyww new year. Hugs, Angela x11x
Lovely to see your Christmas trees and ornaments! The Santa in the Vintage car is very fine, is that a special from somewhere? I’m glad that your face is healing well and hope that the thumb jab starts kicking in as well. I sympathise with that and find that I have to alternate between knitting and crochet so that my thumb doesn’t hurt if I do too much of either.
Happy 2024 and WOYWW!

Hope you see some improvement with the thumb soon Neet. Beautiful decorations. A quick visit this week due to new windows being installed (and of course it has started raining). Stay safe and Happy WOWYW. Sarah #14
Glad you're on the mend and hope the thumb shows signs of improvement soon. That's a smashing main tree, very bright and festive, I'm guessing the rooms feel emptier when the decorations finally come down. Hopefully the new chair and suite will keep the place looking cheery P xx
Our Christmas all came down yesterday and is back in the attic now...it's like a breath of fresh air and I love it. I'm all cleared and cleaned in my sewing room too and now ready to start working again.
Happy New Year.

Christmas is over around here - Kind sad and kinda looking forward to the house getting back to normal.Your decs are lovely for sure. Sorry about the thumb - Dear Son is working thru the Carpal Tunnel?/RSI? process. Had a few injections that helped a bit for a bit but now looking at surgery. No fun. Hand in there and feel better soon!
Happy 2024 WOYWW!

Hoping the steroid injection does the trick. My hubby has thumb pain all the time, he's had a few injections but I can't seem to get him to go for another one. They are pretty expensive and now he's retired there's no medical insurance. We'll see. Hugs BJ#12
Your decorations are lovely. Does heat or cold help your thumb?
All the best for the new year and happy WOYWW

Glad things are looking up health-wise. Your Xmas decorations are so pretty, love the old car! Stayy well, take care, hugs, Valerie
Thanks for your visit earlier. I only published the Menu with the small NHS in the corner cos I didn't want people saying they were sorry to hear I'm in hospital. I chose to go as the alternative was not nice. I think that I'm so much better cos I'm thinking of going home!!!
Pleased your injuries are on the mend
Love your trees

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear you had to do some page adjustments Neet. But I am glad you didn't have to start over. I'm trying to make the challenge easy enough to do. I've been cleaning my art space so it is a mess and there's been no new art for me yet either, but hopefully I'll get it done ASAP. I look forward to seeing your first page tomorrow. And Happy 2024 to you Neet. hugs-Erika
Hi Neet, glad to hear your face is healing, I do hope your thumb will improve so you can enjoy crafting. Our decorations are put away, the house looking a bit bare! Happy New Year. Angela #18
Happy New Year Neet, so glad your face wound is healing well, it must be a lot more comfortable for you. I finished putting it all away yesterday and it's feeling pretty bare now, but it's a lot easier to hoover and get around everything! Your tree looks gorgeous, it must take ages to decorate! Im sure the Thursday post will be very inspiring, will come back to see!
