Sorry no pictures - just a quick update on my trip.
It is raining - well torrential downpour would be more like it. Forecast to last all week and I don't think there has been any time at all that it has not rained. Had the most horrendous clap of thunder yesterday, think along the lines of a sonic boom - seriously - it shook the floor! Took the power out for around two hours and then we had little spells of it going off throughout the day and early evening.
Lovely to be with our friend though, and with this rain it means we are kept inside so lots of time for catch up.
The journey was a bit difficult in that new regulations mean that each and every passenger is subject to having hand baggage searched (talking individually here) and being frisked. Imagine 400 passengers going through that! Led to a one and a half hour delay in taking off so as I went through about fifth lady we were sat on the plane for around twelve and a half hours. I was a bit stir crazy by the end of it.
Not to worry, we are here now, enjoying ourselves as always and looking forward to CHA on Friday. Watch this space!
