Another desk again - yes, I have been away once more. Nothing to show you that I have done as I forgot to scan the birthday card I made for a friend the other day but my desk is looking rather tidy, if full of things. It's the table really - all laid out ready for me to start colouring a page for Thursday's Journal page which I do with a friend. I am going to use my Distress Oxides to create the background for the challenge because they are quick and easy to use. I will have to go and get my stencils - I might use the new one that Abs kindly gifted me in my last order. It will fit in with the challenge on AJJ so I think that might be the one to choose. Next to the new Journal is a box with some Oxides in that I took with me and behind them are a lot of my Dylusions figures - all cut out and some of them coloured.
Next to them is another A4 box which is full of Janet Klein figures, again cut out and many coloured in, then it's my bag of tricks which contains all sorts of tools that I might use when crafting. Just out of sight are my new Black and White Acrylic Paints which I bought yesterday, I think you can just see a bit of the black tube. You will notice I have my kitchen clock tablecloth on - it's a piece I had left over from something many moons ago and it comes in useful to save this table from getting marked.
We had a visitor the other day
I don't know what he found to eat but he was munching at something. We had just turned some soil over, which I thought would attract the birds not the rabbits. Last night I put some left over bits of lettuce out for him but I have not seen him again.
Well, I had better go and get crafting as I need to get this page finished for Thursday morning by 9.30 and if I stay on here chatting I won't get much done. The forecast is for another lovely day tomorrow so fingers crossed, I fancy a trip out somewhere as I want to get my cousin a postcard. He is having a stent put in his neck on Thursday so I thought I needed to let him know I am thinking of him. He and his late wife used to go to a certain place on a regular basis so it has a special spot in his heart and I thought it would be nice to remind him of it. He is such a lovely man, so kind and thoughtful and never a grumble.
Right, better go and link in with WOYWW so that tomorrow evening I can have a nosey around some crafty desks. All good fun. Hope to see you there.

glad that you have been out and about again and that you've had good weather - we had a horrendous storm the other day but it's brighter today. Hope you get your journal page done and find the card for your cousin. Happy WOYWW Helen #2
Glad to hear you are having a good time away Neet. Hope you manage to get the stencils so you can get the journal page complete. A lovely thought to send a meaningful postcard to a friend. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
Your desk space is always so tidy, mine is just chaos. Your box of distress oxides looks like mine! Have a great day, enjoy your trip out! Hugs, Valerie
Always a joy to create away from home, good to know you have been out and enjoying the weather. It's been hit and miss here but good for the garden. Looks like you little visitor is just as curious about you as you are about him, he probably wants to come join you crafting hee hee. Nice little set up.
Happy Woyww Hugs Tracey #9 xx
Happy WOYWW. The plans for your journal page sound lovely. One thing that went in one of my destash sales is any Distress Oxide inkpads that I had (a local mixed media artist persuaded me to sell a few things that I wish now I had kept!). I am trying to do projects with just the stash that I have, but might buy a few Oxides later in the year, as they have been used in a few workshops I have been to (and have booked for August/September) and using other inkpads does not give the right result. Hope your cousin's procedure goes smoothly. Ali x #14
That looks like a desk in waiting Neet and loving your little visitor, what a cute face. That's a lovely idea with the postcard and I'm sure he'll appreciate it. Have a lovely woyww. Hugs, Angela x16x
I was getting pretty fed up with all the rain, but we now have about 5 lovely sunny days predicted. Hope you will be seeing the same for the rest of your trip! I don't feel like I use my DIs to their best effect so will be happy to see your journal page for inspiration :D Hope the operation goes well and your cousin recovers quickly!
Happy Desk Hopping!

Lovely to get away isn't it, even if it's just a change of sink!!
Love that rabbit photo, even if they are pests.
Have a good week

Lovely to hear you're managing to get out and about. Im looking forward to seeing what you do with Abs stamp in your journal for tomorrow's post. I'm intrigued :) Enjoy the upcoming nice weather xx
What a tidy, albeit it 'full' desk Neet - and I am sure you are actually going to accomplish a lot.
Do hope you cousin has successful surgery and recovers quickly - and that you can find the 'right' postcard for him
Stay safe
Blessings
Maxine
Those are the tiniest ink pads I have ever seen. Those oxides must be very expensive. I look forward to your Thursday story, too. How nice you got a free stencil.
Your bunny is a lot bigger than the babies that lived in my back yard. I bet it was happy to be munching on something. It looked a bit bedraggled. Hope you are enjoying your time away. Happy WOYWW from # 6.
Hi Neet, had to come by now as your message was so kind. Don’t burn your lungs with ammonia is the key. I breathed it in by accident at a silversmithing class in 2008 and have had problems since.
Love your seeking the special postcard for your cousin. Such a nice thought.
Lovely rabbit - I bet the lettuce was gone tho!
Take care and happy WOYWW

You’re such a kind and thoughtful gal, your cousin will love to get a postcard of a favourite place. And yep, today’s the day for a bit of out and about, it’s truly lovely out there. Fancy a rabbit turning up like that..do you live near fields or woods? What a nice surprise he must have been, like you, I would have hoped for a few happy birds!! Have fun with your oxides for the Thursday challenge. I’ve just dusted mine and put them on a new shelf…they made me want to play!
Ooh Neet, it's usually Jan's desk that has me drooling over fabric but I absolutely love your table cover - what a fabulous design. I hope you find a nice postcard for you cousin and I hope it all goes well for him.
Have fun with your Thursday project and hope you have a great week,
Diana xx #19
Good morning, Neet!
Wow.. I took a better look at your side bar. You're quite accomplished. Your desk is way too clean, but I get it.. you're starting another project so tidy it is - for now. ;-) Creative Blessings! Kelly #25
I like your visitor Neet. And I do hope you get the page done for Thursday as I am waiting to see it. Hee-hee. Hope you are enjoying yourself and all is well. Hugs-Erika
I was going to say I love the clock faces - I thought they were pieces of ephemera to use in your layouts, not realising that's a table cloth! You know I would cut that up - or at least scan and print! I love oxides too - it's so easy to achieve fantastic results with them! I try to feed the rabbits around here too, but they never eat the leftover vegetables that I put out at the bottom of the garden - I'm not sure why! I've tried perfectly good carrots and celery but they never seem to touch them. Maybe they think it's a trap! Shame you couldn't take a photo of that card, but I know how it goes - you get excited when it's ready and you just want to send it on its way. Enjoy your time away, Neet and thanks so much for your visit and lovely words - you're too kind! xx zsuzsa #24
I was thinking you had cut out some clocks, but I realised it was your work surface🤣. Nice and tidy desk, ready to start crafting! A very thoughtful idea for your cousin, hope you manage to find one. Happy WOYWW Angela #7
I hope you find the right postcard - they just aren't in the shops much round here. Guess its only us oldies that bother to send them! xx Jo
I’d forgotten that fantastic clock face fabric, it still looks great and is perfect for protecting the table. It would look good as scrapbook paper too! The rabbit made me laugh, how funny to see him peeking in, hope he got the lettuce you put out for him. We have a host of sparrows in our garden, parents and babies and it is wonderful to watch the antics from the mob trying to get to the seeds to the babies having a bath in the water tray. It is honestly better than most TV at the moment!

yay for being out and about :) I am sure your cousin will appreciate the card. love that you have a bunny that visits Neet. ~Stacy #27
Lots of interesting stuff on your desk and an empty page to fill - exciting! Love the bunny, how cool he came to visit! I hope your cousin gets on ok at the hospital. Take care! xxxxxxx
How lovely that you have been getting around - and still managing to craft! I have to agree about Boris, I doubt he really wanted all this responsibility but he has made a right shambles of it all. Glad you liked the pic!! Happy WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs Cindyxx #8
Very neat desk, Neet, and I love the table covering with all the clocks! I am glad you are able to have some time away. Thank you for your lovely comment and for all your kinds thoughts recently over my operation. Lovely to know that everyone has been rooting for me! I am doing very well, except that today I have started a cold. I'm really annoyed - my hubby had one a few days ago and he's obviously passed it on to me. He's always going on about Covid and masks etc. but he didn't think to put one on while he was around me, and maybe it would have done some good!!! At least I didn't get a cold just before my operation, and by the time I go for my follow-up appointment it should be OK, so I suppose I shouldn't complain.
My hubby didn't write that poem - it's quite a famous Limmerick that's been around for years. You will enjoy Ruby's little video when you get home - it's really sweet!
Today I actually sat at my desk in my studio and did some painting! It felt sooo good to be in there again, especially as it's nice and tidy now - my hubby brought me a tray of tea and there was actually somewhere to put it!! I made a start on Mr. Memon's card and so far so good - except that I am horrified to find that my Dylusions paints are starting to dry out! I've had them rather a long time and haven't used them for ages. I've spritzed them well with water and I hope they will have revived a bit by tomorrow.
Happy WOYWW,

Sounds like you've been having fun getting out and about. Your desk is as neat as ever, unlike mine at the moment (ha,ha!) 😀. The postcard sounds like the perfect pick me up, wishing your cousin well for his surgery! Take care and happy wishes! Hugs, Jo x
Lovely to see your visitor!
Happy WOYWW!
Stay safe and keep well!
