WOYWW 465

Saw something good on Facebook today - the lovely Antonis Tzanidakis is doing a one day workshop for Oyster Stamps whom I demo for in Hurley which I believe is near Maidenhead.  Hope this does not sound like an advert as I know Julia does not like us using WOYWW for advertising but I am hoping it is a "heads up" for some of you ladies down south.

Anyway, here I am linking up once again to the greatest blog hop in the history of blogging (well, we have been going for nigh on 9 years now - this must be a record).

It is now another month - May - and we are going to be celebrating with our 9th atc swap - so far I am swapping with
Wipso, Sarah B, Twiglet? and Nikki.  Any more takers?  Anyone I have forgotten?  I can do more than four of them.

Yesterday I had been doing another double page in my journal.  Don't think I will be giving to much away if I show you the state of my desk.

Apart from that I have very little to show you as I seem to have fallen behind in my crafting but this has to change as I have some birthday cards to make, my atc's to do and I want to do some Gelli Printing as well, just for pleasure.  I did, however, make a card for my niece who has had her second little boy the other week but forgot to show it on here.

This week has seen a long line of medical check - on Monday it was my INR check, Tuesday it was the Pacemaker check when I received the lovely news that my batteries are nearing the end of their life (ha ha).  Now I am on three monthly checks to make sure I don't grind to a halt.  Tomorrow it is my (new to our GP's) AF check up and Friday another hospital visit.  Be glad when the week is over - although nothing is too serious so no real worries.  It means I have had the days eaten into though hence no crafting.

Hopefully, all change next week and some crafting on the agenda.  In the meantime what bout visiting Julia and following the link in my second paragraph, you know you want to.  See you next week!

Morning Neet. What a week - hope the rest of the appointments go well! A lovely birth congrats card - well done. I haven't given ATCs a thought yet - but must! - and I know I promised to swap with someone... just can't remember who. Aargh! Help!!! I'd love to say I would swap with you - but hardly dare commit...
Take care. God bless.

It's funny you should mention that WOYWW must be a record holder because I was thinking that this morning - surely it must be in the running for one of the longest blogs on the interwebs? I'm glad all the medical stuff is small stuff (relatively speaking!) and that you are ok. That demo down south sounds a lot of fun!

PS I've been into Julia's Mr Linky account and deleted the old links so your number will be different.

I won't be joining the swap this year as I just moved houses and am still not settled in my new atelier - it's a pity 'cause I always like this 'event' - I hope to join again next year. HOpe you get some me-time soon, have fun creating! Happy woyww, love from Holland, Marit #23

Hello Neet, thanks for popping by. Congrats to all re the new baby. I love your card. Those appointments that keep us from crafting are a nuisance aren't they :-) Hope you get lots done next week. I'm having quite a good week crafting wise. Anne x #15

Hi Neet. Sounds like you've been too busy to craft. Sometimes it's just how it goes. However that card is so sweet, love it to bits. Thanks for the visit to mine, have a lovely woyww and a happy crafty week, Angela x18x

Gosh, that's quite a schedule for all sorts of check-ups. I know what you mean when something "eats into" your day. Even if it doesn't take all day, it seriously diminishes the availability of free time. Good luck with it all - and please don't "grind to a halt" LOL! Such a cute card - congratulations to your niece! You can add me to your ATC list! I'm making at least nine, so there should be plenty going around! Thanks for your visit yesterday, Neet - it's always lovely to hear from you! xx zsuzsa #16

Hope those checks all went well - it does seem to take a lot of our time up doesn't it. I have to have a check up on my scar face next week but hoping to combine it with a trip to Shugborough Hall NT property. xx Jo

Ooh, I love those vivid blues and greens - so fresh and springlike... looking forward to seeing where that goes next. Such a sweet card too. Glad to hear the check-ups are going well, though it's annoying when craft time gets eaten into like that.
