My choice - black and white and "The Movies". I knew I wanted to use this Tando stencil - love it but not used it and had it ages, so I was all set for my page until I went to the Art Specially Show in Holland and found an embossing folder. That changed it - but for the better - I now really did know what I was doing.
Gesso page to make it white, stencil used for top and bottom borders with black paint and then the embossing folder done on black card. A careful cutting out of the centre, two Dylusion figure heads, a bit of Gold (my third colour) paste and it was done. Words? OK just a simple statement! I cannot think of them like Wendy does.
I did intend using my Viva Gold Paste but it had gone mouldy - instead I used my Metallic Rub Ons (remember them? In a long line in a plastic container with a clear lid, several small indentations each with a colour in) that I must have had for at least 20 years - no mould on them!!
I just realised I had not written my post, the page was ready yesterday - Oops!

Brilliant, love the embossing folder and stamp. Now I know why you were so keen on doing this theme. I really had nothing to work on, just my imagination.
Hugs Wendy
No, didn't have the embossing folder until last week when I went to Holland. I just spotted it and thought "Movies" - never seen it before.
what a great page! It's got me humming too now, along with the title!
Looks great, Neet - love the faces in the film strip and the stencils work perfectly for this theme.
Love, love, love your Jeudi Journals.
