Another week has gone by and it is almost Easter, it will be with us before too long and we can then eat our Easter Eggs, that is if you are better than I am and have not eaten any sweet stuff during Lent. I just had to try one of those Cadbury's Creme Eggs with White Chocolate and I really did enjoy it. Maybe not as much as the Hot Cross Bun with crumbly Lancashire Cheese though. Now is that a northern thing like eating Christmas Cake with Lancashire Cheese?
Hasn't the weather been gorgeous? We decided to make the most of it and spend a few days, like a long weekend at, well close to, Morecambe Bay. I've often heard them marvelling over the view of The Bay but never really appreciated it as much as I did on Tuesday. We had gone into Morecambe to do some shopping, and keep out of the sun a bit as it was so hot. On the way back I just had to have Chas stop the car and take in the view. I would say this was about 4 - 4.30 pm and you could see right across to Grange and the hills of the Lake District.

Views like that more than make up for lack of crafting, the beach/Bay looks fabulous. Safe journey home. helen #1
Looks like a great weekend Neet - I can understand why no crafting was done. Sorry again about not commenting last week - the visits were so quick. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
We could have waved across to each other Neet as we were in Grange. The hotel we had lunch in looks right across the bay

You deserve a rest, just forget the crafting and have a restful time you can get back to it some other time. Happy woyww, Angela x9x
It's good to hear you've enjoyed a few days away....crafting will wait.
Hugs,

Getting out into nature and the sun sounds a rewarding enough way to spend your week. Crafting will always be there, especially for when the weather is wet and gloomy. Lovely photos of the bay. Glad you had a good time :) xxxxxxxxx
Hi again, I got your message and sent you one back guess it will be there somewhere. I don't tend to buy Stamperia anymore either as I hate the fact there is only one sheet of the design in the packet which is why I've been trying to work out a way of using both sides. Pleased don't blame me if you are tempted now to buy them Lol! Happy crafting, Angela x9x
I’m glad you had a good time. I liked cheese with fruit cake as well. Vara brith with Caerphilly, and any fruitcake with Cheshire or Lancashire. I gave cheese up when my migraines were bad but I’m now starting to try baby steps. I found that Ocado do an old favourite of ours, Colliers Welsh cheddar, and I tried a little bit yesterday- glorious end no migraine. Yay!!
I’m fond of Morecambe bay as I was at Lancaster uni many moons ago. I loved going to Heysham for nettle beer, and playing pinball on the ceiling when I should’ve been studying! Walking on the far side, Grange way, was good too.
Happy memories! wishing you happy WOYWW

Looks lovely Neet, that view really is something. Had to smile that you had everything with you but did nothing! I'm often like that with Tuesday craft club - I leave convinced I have a project and everything I need to find out - I haven't!!
Thanks for your earlier visit - my mission today is to get some colour on my page before lunch....well late lunch. Will browse your Thursday pages first.
Have a great week, Love n hugs Cindyxx
If the weather is nice enjoy it. That is a great view Neet, and if it was cold or raining, you'd be crafting inside. A nice day (or days) is always a good excuse to enjoy the view. hugs-Erika
Oh you are funny, taking everything and not using anything. Testament to the fine weather methinks and the view is truly breathtaking glad you had a good time. Hugs BJ#12
Fabulous views. As great as crafting is, sometimes we just need to chill and take in the view. Happy WOYWW. Angela #13
LOL! I think I've done that as well - all good intentions, but too many other things to do! The views are gorgeous, no wonder you stopped to look! I've never heard of eating cheese with hot cross buns, but it sounds good. I just bought some good English cheese, maybe I will try it! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #17
Oh gorgeous views Neet. We have been so blessed with the wonderful sunshine this week. We really love cake and cheese but having lived in Yorkshire most of my married life it does have to be Wensleydale of course!x x Jo 🌈
Well I wouldn’t have done anything either Neet, easier not to somehow! What amazing views, it looks huge and well, deserted which is amazing on a warm sunny day!
I thought your post was very interesting. Loved the scenic photos and cheese with sweet things certainly sparked a conversation with my daughter and husband. Not a surprise to me as we used to live in Yorkshire... But it also made me think of Italian cheese platters with honey.
Happy WOYWW! Susan #6
Ah the joys of sorting, mind you the trip sounds fantastic. Never heard of hot cross buns with cheese though ....interesting

Your temporary craft home looks just right if the mood were to strike, but what a lovely view! Well worth not crafting for. And hot cross buns and cheese? Nope.
Poppy relapsed so very very late!
