WOYWW 799

Yippee Doodle Doo!  One week and we are at 800in the biggest blog hop I know about that is now being cared for by Sarah, so let's visit her and see if she has something planned for us all.

Well, I've been doing another big page for my friend Jayne to turn into another of those tumblers for me, well, not for me but for my better half.  It had to be Lavinia stamps so he chose ... owls.  This one I did on my first run but I wanted to do another for me and so I decided to go with the Ocean - so far two goes and still not happy.  I might end up with a Halloween one if this next trial does not go well.

So what have I got to show you? Oh, I made a Halloween bookmark - two sides - the main side is purple and the red side is just because it didn't look right left white.

and the other side - both use the new witches from Lavinia which Leesa calls "good witches" - I call them "sexy witches" as they are so pretty compared to the one which came out last year.

My friend Jayne, you know, the one who turned my artwork into a tumbler, she did a swap and made an extra one of each so she could give one to me - her theme was "Fairy Tales".  See if you can guess them.

I can only think this has scanned a bit 'hazy'  because the shoe was decoupaged as were the buttons and the bobbin of thread.  Both these pieces are beautifully made, Jayne is good as what she turns her hand to.

So that's it from me this week.  Next week maybe another tumbler or maybe some Christmas stuff as I have a workshop coming up and it's based around Christmas.  See you then.

Oops - forgot my desk photo.  Helen will suss out what is happening.

Jayne's fairy tales are fabulous! I love the new lavinia witches but wouldn't use them so mustn't get tempted! Happy WOYWW Helen #2

Those pretty/good witches are really lovely. I'm not a lover of Halloween themed things, but these witch ladies are gorgeous!
I'm struggling to think of a fairy tale with boots in them: Puss in boots? Perhaps The Old Lady that Lived In A Shoe?

I wonder what the copyright is? Could she sell the tumblers? They look pretty nice and might be good and different Xmas gifts... :)
A quick hop before knitting at mine!
Happy WOYWW.

Hello Neet, Love the bookmark. I've been thinking about making bookmarks recently. Not done anything though, just been thinking. The pretty witches make me think of my youngest granddaughter - they'd appeal to her. I recognised both the fairy tales in Jayne's beautiful swaps = love here style. Your desk is looking very sorted and ready to go. Have a lovely week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #8

The new witches are fab but I suspect I’m rather like the old version, lol!! I do love the colours you’ve used and the red side was definitely the right choice. I loved Jayne’s work, the details are amazing. Looking forward to the big 800 next week, I’ll be having a walk down memory lane.
Rhys is with us on our hols and he took the pic of me and G in Hay on Wye 🥰

Gorgeous book mark. I have always loved Lavinia stamps though I don't use them so often now but still have a large collection, many from when she first started. Hope to see the new tumbler. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x13x

Oh dear - I think I'm likely to be getting enabled at this rate - those are rather sweet witches! Reminds me that I must get on and make some halloween cards for my friends, because it'll soon be that time and two need to get to the States.

Fabulously tidy desk this week - I am most envious!

Your bookmarks and artwork are beautiful and they are wonderful stamps that tell a story with so much detail. I really like Halloween and gothic style crafting, but only have a very few people to make it for unfortunately. Your tumblers are such a cool idea and look amazing. Happy Woyww - Michelle #16 x

I love your witchy bookmark. I’ve been drawn to owls recently, as a symbol of Athena of the goddess of crafting. Your colours are beautiful.
Take care and happy WOYWW

Fabulous work Neet. Sorry to be so late visiting this week but I had great difficulty getting my computer to link up with the internet on Wednesday and a busy week at work. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW memories next week.
