The "Wool" idea I mentioned last week hasn't come off. I was going to knit something but the pattern arrived and it needed three needles. Apart from not having three needles I don't think I know how to knit with three needles. So I suppose I need to view a You Tube video or something and get cracking. At the moment the pattern reads like double Dutch to me. Don't hold your breath on that one it might take a while like the crochet. Still am not happy with my tension but I do keep trying to do it each week.
I think I am out of touch with shopping, especially for stamps. I wanted a polymer stamp and did a search for it on the internet - finding it was £15 put me off a bit. Just one image of a flower. Fair enough it was a large one. Is that normal these days?
Remember all those images a friend sent and I coloured in at the start of my accident? Well here they are now mounted up and made into cards. Some are purely coloured pencils and some are Inktense pencils used as watercolour.

Hi, that does seem a lot for one polymer stamp! I rarely buy them though so not sure of prices. Well done on getting the cards made up, they look great. Nice to see a desk shot, too! Happy WOYWW Helen #?
SOme fab cards Neet. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2
Wow that stamp does seem expensive! But like you, it's been a long time since I bought one so have no idea what they cost these days. Love all those coloured images. It's so relaxing to sit and add colour. More relaxing than the knitting sounds lol. Two needles is enough of a learning curve let alone adding a third one in the mix lol. P xxx
Love all the cards, but the two misty watercoloured ones at the right are really yummy! Not a not-interesting desk at all, silly girl. I see a lot to enjoy and be inspired by :)
Happy WOYWW!

Love the cards Neet....it looks like we have both been using card making as a bit of therapy this week.

Your first paragraph made me LOL Neet. Not having 3 needles is definitely a handicap. Not sue about stamp prices - was it A5 or bigger? Saw some gorgeous stamps at the weekend, I think the rrp was about £26 but they had them on sale sp I was tempted. But the main image was were so big, I wasn't even sure they would fit on an 8 x 8 card. Nice work on the coloured images. Have a great week, love n hugs Cindyxx #15
Great to see your desk again. The Ikea kids paint brushes are great for me as I prefer the stubby handles. Love the cards you made up, super colouring. Hugs BJ#11
Hi Neet, not done any knitting for ages but I used to love knitting with three needles but it is something you have to get used to. The stamp does seem a bit expensive to me though it does depend on the size and the make, it's worth shopping round as I have found them cheaper on Amazon and Etsy. Wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x8x
Your cards are lovely- like a little art gallery! I don't think I would be any good with 3 needles which is why sock knitting always seems like nightmare I won't be trying! Hope you manage to master it . x x Jo
OOh Neet, the cards are gorgeous, what a random selection of images that friend sent you, probably slightly off your normal choices! You've been able to be at your desk for a bit longer now, good sign indeed. Can't offer anything but vague support with knitting...three needles? what?! Not for me, not patient enough to learn. Stamp price doesn't surprise me actually, I don't buy many these days but some of the TH sets are at ridiculous prices now, so I'm learning to go without!!
You now have a lovely assortment of cards for every occasion! I think I have that tea cup stamp, and the flower stamp too! Have a lovely week, Lindart #17
A delightful selection of cards Neet - how lovely to have the assortment of images sent ready to colour!! Very thoughtful of your friend.
I am trying to spend less on stamps and use what I have, but the marketing is relentless... so far so good of late, but who knows how long it will last!
At least we got to see your desk this week, so things are on the up!
Blessings
Maxine
I love your cards! and what a great selection. I'm not very good at colouring and think my comfort zone is the size of an ATC card so tend to paint with the inks that I have, but I am trying to step outside my comfort zone a little more than just stick with the same thing.
For the stamp I would say that was pretty good, especially as everything seems to have gone up in the last year. Happy WOYWW! Michelle
Those cards came out great.Coloring is fun, isn't it? And it sounds like your knitting keeps the stitches on 2 needles and you use the third to to knit with. I've never heard of knitting with 3 needles, usually it's 4 or 5. Good luck with that. hugs-Erika
Hi Neet, quite often the stamps I want are more money that that. £22 the Tim Holtz ones! It’s no wonder I haven’t bought any!
Lovely assortment of created cards, I do like the flower stamp. Happy WOYWW. Angela #12
