What a day it has been again. Sunshine this morning meant I set off to clinic with just my hoodie over my t-shirt and on the way back I went into Iceland with Chas only to hear thunderous rain, as we thought, beating down on the roof. When we ventured outside it was hail. So many days now we have had these hail storms and on Monday it turned to sleet as we were driving to the hospital.
Well, I got signed off at the hospital on Monday for the cutaneous horn I had removed back in December and I don't think it will be long before the clinic sign me off for the knee. Last week there was only a tiny bit still open (over granulation) which was bleeding and today it was the same, a tiny bit bleeding, but I think it was in a different place.
Now, ages ago a lovely friend sent me some images for me to colour in. It was fine for me at the time and now I have made some of the images into cards but I only have one to show you, do you remember me showing them to you - I had used coloured pencil crayons to colour them.
You can see one of them on the left of my desk - a tea cup with two more images waiting to be finished and then I can make them into a set of three cards.
So this is my desk as it is at the moment. My small guillotine, the cards, images, my coaster (thanks Jo) my favourite flower stamps with some new pockets in front as I am putting them all in pockets to keep them safe. The rest is as it always is - ink pads mainly.
Here are two cards I made last week. Remember the blue Bluebell looking one? Well, I tried again with a poppy stamp. The first one is the last one I did as it is a second generation image.

The weather has certainly been topsy-turvy. roll on spring proper! The cards look great, though; good to see you slowly getting back to crafting. Take care and say dry! Helen #2

It's not been too bad here this week but hubby was in Manchester Monday and Tuesday and said there was so much hail the roads looked white as though it had snowed. Guess it's that time of the year. Loving the card designs. The gingham is just perfect. Happy woyww, Angela x11x
Great to hear that you've been signed off from one medical situation and nearly signed off on another. Agreed the weather is frustrating especially if you're yearning to go outside a bit more. Hopefully warmer, drier days are just around the corner. Love that you're able to do more crafting and creativity now too. Won't be long until you're stamping your own images. P xxx
Fabulous work! Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #13
We’re having April showers too. I don’t mind a bit of rain but I’ve been glad not to get caught in hail!
So glad you’re feeling better, Neet. Your cards are lovely and I’m looking forward to seeing what you might do with wool 😏
Take care and happy WOYWW

Thanks Neet for the visit. and the ONION skins idea I have a sack I saved and forgot about...Hope to try that this week as I have more fabric to color. I appreciate your idea.
Glad you are lowly getting better, it's been a long time! I had to go back home today as it started to blow and rain and throw hail at us, brrrr!. Have a great week, hugs, Valerie
Oh no! Hail - yuk!! Luckily we have been spared of any kind of winter weather lately, hopefully that will continue. Your teacup card is lovely, I like the gingham tablecloth! Glad things are slowing healing and getting better for you, have a great week, Lindart #18
Yes our weather has been erratic. Sunshine and the cold nasty showers today. So glad you are well and truly on the mend Neet. Good that you can get crafty again. I love the cup on the gingham cloth x x Jo
The hail was quite awful. So much wind and rain the last month. The gingham looks great behind the cup. Happy WOYWW. Angela #7
Hi Neet! Yes this weather has been really erratic but it's nice to see a bit of blue sky now and then. Have had a very good week but really tired today - and I'm looking after Lionel! Not a good mix lol. Just taking advantage of his naptime to catch up with WOYWW as yesterday just disappeared. Hoping you will be well enough to come to the crop though I don't have a scoobie how I'm getting there yet. Love your cups and what's not posh about gingham? Love n hugs Cindyxx
You asked if digital papers are worth using. If you have decent paper and a decent printer I would say yes. If I had a laser colour printer I would say a resounding yes! I use my digital papers for a lot of things. I make cards and print them out for example. The inkjet papers don’t like anything wet on them, which is a nuisance. However, I have used a brayer with acrylic paint over them and that works well. A lot of my journals are made with digitally printed paper. Hugs Angela
I think you're quite right Neet, getting soaked to the skin will give you at the very least, a chill, and that is definitely to be avoided. Moving slowly I'd good, I'm glad that the clinic has signed you off from one thing, the other seems to be on the cards which is great. Long road, patiently borne Missus. The teacup looks lovely, I think the gingham looks just right myself!
Hi, Neet!
Sorry to be so late getting around.
Love that tea cup! An enabler friend of mine showed it to be a while ago….
I searched till I found one!
Happy Weekend!

The weather here is erratic especially for this time of year and it's almost a guessing game on a daily basis. Your cards are lovely and Im looking forward to what you craft with your wool Michelle
