Hip Hip Hooray, I have started my Christmas cards. Any more of you WOYWW'ers been Christmas card making? Bet some of you have finished them not just started them.
Went down to Ruthin on Saturday to the Hallaganza at Lavinia and saw lots of lovely ideas and spent lots of lovely lolly. Yes, had to buy those new stamps and this Christmas my cards will maybe have a fairy on them. In fact on Monday I did three cards featuring the two fairies that have just come out. I fell in love with them. The fairies, not my cards.
To be honest I didn't need to go down to get inspired, the design team had been working hard and putting lots of their ideas on the net. It was one of Tracey's videos that inspired me to use the fairies and so I stamped them up and added a bit of other stuff, a bit of colour, some holographic stuff and I had them done. They are the ones that will go abroad.
So here is my craftroom counter in all its mess:
and my little table
Hopefully by next week I will have lots more Christmas cards done. The one I really wanted to try I didn't realise I needed some small snowflakes to make it and I don't have any suitable in my stash. Ah well, next year ...
In the meantime here is a catch up on some of my journal pages - I'll just show you the Lavinia inspired ones. I don't know who inspired me with this lady (Zia) in her top hat but
Jo was responsible for the inspiration behind the mousey clockwork one.
this one below is purely mine
This was intended for a challenge called 'animals gather' but I was too late (didn't read the rules) so I added some gears later and used it in my 'in gear' theme.
I've been Lavinia all the way recently as I did some 3" x 3" squares for a challenge Jo put up but I will show those to you next week in case I don't get any Christmas cards done for you to see.
In the meantime stay safe and well and hopefully we will meet up here again next Wednesday with all the other
WOYWW gang.

We'll look at us both posting before bed! I tried to schedule my post for tomorrow morning but the App I use kept defaulting it to December 1st. Re typed it three times and then gave in because I want to go to bed! Your Lavinia cards are beautiful Neet, as are your journal pages, my word you do put a lot into each and every don't you. The Hallaganza sounds good. I know the Lavinia DT are excellent online, but it must have been lovely to see the stuff for real!
I did see some fabulous fairies on one of Tracey's videos; but tempted though I was there is no point, I know they wouldn't get used. Well done on starting your cards - I have progressed no further with the masterboards I did a few weeks ago.

Your desk looks busy but well-organised! Loving all your makes, especially the fairy cards - I can imagine they look even better in real life with the holographic glitter! I can just about see it in the photos - I bet they look magical! Happy November! xx zsuzsa #8
I can see why you love the Lavinia range of stamps. I agree, they are gorgeous. Your fairy Xmas cards are fantastic, love that blue and white background for them. Great to see a messy desk as a sign of all the production this week lol P xxxxx
Morning Neet! Love your clockwork mousies!! I have been hearing a lot of chatter about the new Lavinia release but hadn't looked (great restraint on my part don't you think?). I do like the one with the 'skirt' though. I can be smug and say I did all my cards earlier in the year but I am still poised to do more - but no pressure!! Lavinia are always a good go to for Christmas as you can keep them flat for posting and they are still lovely. My craft room is now prepped for Christmas makes and the retreat at the w/e has got me all fired up - now I just have to find some time at my desk!!
Have a great week, love n hugs Cindy xx #11
I really do like Lavinia stamps and can see why you had a splurge! The fairies are really lovely and my fav is the dancing mice, so gorgeous! Mind you anything with cogs and gears on gets my vote, I don’t know why I find them so visually satisfying but I do!
Hope you’re not getting this horrible crazy weather, we’re in for a battering tomorrow by the looks of the forecast….better batten down those hatches!

Happy November Neet. I bought some blank card and envelope sets to make holiday cards, let's see if I actually do it before December 20th. Smile. Hopefully, I will but it seems like I always think there is so much time to do it and then bam-it's arrived. Thank you again for hosting last month too. It was fun. hugs-Erika
Brilliant cards, Neet, especially the steampunk ones. I love the little mice in their pumpkin houses.

I love Lavinia, and I love your Fairy Cards! great ideas! I don't have too many Lavinia stamps, and now that our local stamp store is gone, I probably won't get many more :-(. I love the pumpkin scene - gorgeous! I haven't started (or even thought of) Christmas cards yet, but I guess I should...Have a great week, Lindart #19
I'd contemplated going to Lavinia's Hallaganza, but thought it might be too Hallowe'en orientated for my liking. I love Ruthin,it's a sweet little town.
Your journal pagesy for AJJ were all wonderful. And of course you had to buy the stamps, like I have to buy books. I just must! Have fun with your new stamps! Hugs, Valerie
A really busy desk Neet - and some sweet cards :)
Blessings
Maxine
I can understand the Lavinia stamps . . . and such pretty cards!

Busy bunny or is that a hare? Super fairies beautifully coloured. The Queen's head is the stamp shaped one seen in the sky between the roof and the chimney. It's one of those, you either see it or you don't kind of moments. Hugs BJ#13
I thought I'd visited you on Wednesday but it doesn't look like |I did so I'm here now. Your cards are lovely. No one designs fairies like Tracy. Have a great weekend. Hugs Angela x10x
