The days are drawing in and it gets dark quite soon here in the north of England, that seems to make my days so much shorter and therefore they seem to pass even more quickly. Saturday was dry and quite warm where we were and we went for a walk in the park and enjoyed seeing all the families out with the children enjoying themselves. I guess the kiddie train had stopped running when October came in but the trampolining was still there for them to enjoy as was the crazy golf. I hope the latter stays open, I fancy a game myself.
I started sticking some of my work in my Lavinia Journal but I spent too much time hesitating as to what to put on the blank part of each page. That to me is more daunting than a whole white page. I just need some ideas to link up the rectangular images so they don't look as if they have just been 'plonked' there. I managed two pages that is all but both still need some work on them.
I did promise you I would show you the pages I have been uploading for my theme at Art Journal Journey although it seems a bit silly as you could just scroll down to them. Anyway, here are the two from the last week
I did intend making a good start on my "C" cards, especially if the weather kept us in a bit, but the internet was non existent and so I couldn't find anything to inspire me and my own inspiration was lacking. (So bad was the internet that we had to go to sit outside the 'bins' which are close to reception to get on the internet so I could link my posts for Art Journal Journey and do my commenting. We got some funny looks from people emptying their rubbish.)
When I got home I stamped some hats for the two "C" cards I had done whilst away. I thought the Santa hat looked fine on these cards but had to try a dickie bow and a straw boater. There's also a top hat and a witches one to play with, courtesy of Crazy Birds.

I had my jab a few Sundays ago and I was definitely under the weather for a day. Sounds like you are in a bit of a slump; I can say your AJJ pages are certainly very cool and well done, so I hope that you aren't really in a slump. I'm looking forward to your next page. I know what you mean about getting dark so early and the days feeling shorter, because it is even dark later in the morning too. Oh well, it is that time of year when I can catch up on TV and sleep-ha ha. Hugs-Erika
Great journal pages Neet. Good luck with the C cards. The owl Santa is cute. I booked my own Covid jab without anything from the GP either. I had my flu jab last month but no sign of an invite for the Covid one. Next Tuesday at the pharmacy round the corner. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #1
what a strange place to get internet connection!! glad you've been able to share your latest projects though. I have begun some Christmas background prep too... Happy WOYWW Helen #4
LOVE the Santa owl!!!!! Well done on cracking on with C Cards. Hope you're feeling better soon after your jab. Glad you were able to sort them out at a walk in, given that your GP hasn't offered them. I noticed my local Boots branch was offering a walk in flu jab but don't know if same for Covid. Sat here in the dark gloom as I type, so know what you mean about the days being shorter - not long before clocks change!!! Sending hugs P xxxxxx
Our days are growing longer Neet and ar 6pm still light I'm in shorts and short sleeved top about to water the back yard then get tea.
Pray you're feeling okay. I'm not getting any more of them. Too many issues so plod on trusting as I go.
I'm starting finally on my cards too. I'm going to remake or upcycle many as I've some nice ones I don't want to waste.
Praying for you and your family back here in Oz too.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless you and keep you and all whom you love safe and well. Happy WOYWW 😊
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.X

I am so glad you shared these latest pages for AJJ, because I haven't had a chance to catch up there. Had to laugh at your poor reception. I am in LOVE with that Santa hat. It goes on that bird so well. Happy WOYWW from # 2.
Happy WOYWW. I love those cards and the selection of hats. Our internet regularly drifts away throughout the day here. I get used to it working fine for hours and then suddenly stopping. Thankfully, our mobile signal is strong so I can get on my phone to sort out emails etc. When I upgrade my iPad I am going to get one that will work with mobile signal too. Ali x #11
We had to organise our own Covid jabs again this yearalthough the Flu jabs were at our surgery...and we ended up with cold like symptoms too. Needs must I guess.

I love what you’re shared with today - those Victorian gentlemen images share some impressive moustaches!! I so love steampunky stuff and you are an expert. I really fell for the Christmas owl as well, how fab was he? I really smiled at him, you’re onto a winner there for sure! We’ve not had as bad weather as you Oop North but not as warm as the SE, like Goldilocks, it’s been just right!
Hugs LLJ 15 xx
Cool cards! And the AJJ sample pages too. My iPad refused to allow a wifi connection this morning so I feel your pain. Luckily neither flu nor covid jabs gave me more than two sore arms! Hope that still means they are doing their thing ....
Happy WOYWW Day!

I have had to book my jab at my local hospital!! I think they have set aside a whole ward.
So pleased you could get a signal . . . even though it was a strange place!
Enjoy your week

Glad you showed the beautiful images again, they are well worth a second look! I had a painful arm and a runny nose after my flu jab. Covid is on the march here, too. Take care, hugs, Valerie
Hi Neet, I can't believe the change in the weather today. Yesterday we were near Mablethorpe and the weather was lovely and warm and a slight breeze and today it's pouring it down. It's a pain when the internet goes, how on earth did we manage before! Definitely think Covid is getting going again, hubby was in our surgery yesterday and he said all the nurses, doctors and receptionists were back to wearing masks again. Wew're going for our covid jab Saturday so will definitely be wearing a mask for that. Hope your woyww is a happy one. Hugs, Angela x13x
Not liking these darker morning and evenings. So difficult to get a decent photograph for posting. What about doing some squares or rectangles to go with your Lavinia cards to add some balance? Just an idea. Those crazy bird hats are just the right size. Happy WOYWW. Angela #14
Your internet connection story had me chuckling - thanks for that! And be gentle with yourself, even our inspiration needs a holiday from time to time.
No doubt you did get some odd looks, sitting so close to the rubbish ;). Love those owl cards - the Christmas hats look so cute on them.
Do hope that you only have a couple of days of discomfort, and you stay clear of covid - that's one nasty bug. I have had a couple of doses, but I am eligible for free anti-viral drugs which minimise the effects, thankfully.
Blessings
Maxine
We had texts from our GP group for both covid and flu. We had our covid jab a fortnight ago and flu last weekend. We didn’t get any warning but I felt fluey this week. Ah well, better than catching it!
Your owl C card is cute and I love your steampunk journal pages.
Catching up today. Have a good week
Hugs
