WOYWW 726

Nothing at all to show you, my fellow WOYWW'ers, on my desk today.  I unpacked my little box that I had taken with me to Cheltenham last week and set it all out on the desk in readiness for me to continue with what I had hoped to do whilst away.  I hadn't done much at all in the hotel and so I needed to get on with things.

Unfortunately I was struck down with a very severe chest infection and still am suffering.  Not as much as the last few days of last week.  As it is I am taking paracetamol and steaming myself four times a day in the hope that I will start to feel a bit better.

So here is my desk in all its glory:

That's it folks - see you next week

Oh Neet - that sounds 'orrible - I hope you are all better soon and crafting once more. I am prone to chest infections so can fully understand how debilitating they can be

Argh Neet, you poor thing…if it lasts more than three days you need a dr to intervene! Gosh there’s little worse, I feel for you. We impose these deadlines on ourselves but it’s art and therefore fluid, you get to it when you feel better; not least because in my experience anything you do whilst you’re feeling low reflects thst and you won’t like it! Sending healing hugs xxxxx

Sorry to hear that, Neet. A technique I’ve learned is to clear your chest with active breathing. It saves you getting tired out by coughing all day. https://www.physio-pedia.com/Active_Cycle_of_Breathing_Technique
Hope you feel better soon

Oh dear, sounds like what I am trying to get rid of. REST is the best, and by rest - do nothing!! I found that by even doing the smallest things that I wouldn't have thought to be a problem caused all kinds of coughing and exhaustion. So I hope you heal soon, get LOTS of rest!
