WOYWW 723

What a mixed Easter we had.  Good Friday the weather was beautiful, warm and sunny.  Saturday was very much the same, lovely and warm, at last we are having a lovely Spring day and it is leading us into Summer.  Or so I thought!  Woke up Sunday morning to sunshine so a quick breakfast and off we set for a walk.

Thank goodness we had put our coats in the car, it was a very cold wind that greeted us as we walked down the promenade.  How I wished I had taken a woolly hat with me, my poor ears were so cold.  My hands frozen.  So the day out, the picnic lunch all appeared to be needing putting on hold.  So much for a day at the seaside.

Easter Monday was a wash out in more ways than one, as it rained on and off and so it became a day for crafting.  Well, the afternoon did and so, to my desk which was the table.  Yes, we weren't at home so my supplies were all packed up and they travelled with me.  A lovely day getting my ATC's done.  Here we are before I show you anything I don't want you to see yet:

Tuesday evening brought terrible storms.  A bit scary at times with high winds and a rocking caravan.  Well, maybe not rocking like a rocking chair but certainly it got caught in the gusts.  That and a very poor internet reception did not make for ease in blogging but I've managed this far and so I'll leave it there for now and do some editing when I get home after lunch.

In the meantime I will do my best to link up with the other WOYWW'ers and join in the search to see what others have done.  See you over at WOYWW.

Sounds like our Easter weather here Down Under - thunder storms, rain, wind, etc etc.
Always great to have your craft 'stuff' with you for days like that.
Blessings

LOL! Yeah, Easter was not the lovely sunny weekend we all hoped for, but we certainly got a lot done. Nailed down my final ATC design, began making some of the components, changed my mind, changed my mind again...you know how it goes. Ah well... enjoy your time away!

Oh another blog giving me incentive to make a few ATCs this year, best get a wiggle on. The weather is certainly changeable at the moment and quite deceptive too. Hugs BJ#5

Hi Neet, we've had some nice weather but last night it poured it down and the night before was thunder and lightning just happy it didn't bother the dogs too much. Pleased you managed to get away though, it just makes a nice change, I'm starting to feel like we're glued into the house as we've not been anywhere for ages just sorting stuff for my mum really. Have a lovely and creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x7x

You were very fortunate with the weather at the start of Easter holidays. We noticed that it was forecast to turn at the end of the week so took the opportunity to work on the allotment. Good job too as it's been getting quite a soaking since. Good job you packed your woolies. I've gone from wearing just a T shirt to wrapping up in a thick jumper. I can but only imagine what those strong winds felt like in a caravan. Here, in my brick house last night, they sounded bad enough. Let's hope its quieter and warmer for you today. Enjoy the rest of your holiday xx

Weather was much the same here Neet but we made the best of it. I don't like gusty winds in our caravan either but thankfully we decided to wait until the kids have gone back to school before going away in it.
Your name is on my ATC list.

The Easter weekend was gorgeous here (in fact 11 days on the trot of being self sufficient in electricity from the solar!) but yesterday and today have been properly stormy. I know your caravan is probably anchored down but I’d still have been a bit scared! Hope you had a good break even if it was a bit cold, the temps are on the rise next week so I gather, hopefully it’ll be a bit more springlike!

Me again! The survival kit contained bottles of OLD Peculiar, OLD Speckled Hen, OLD Mout cider, paracetamol, Werther’s Originals, that sort of thing to help the poor lad cope with the fact that he’s ancient now!

Hiya Neet!! Easter Monday was a wash out but we have had a lot of sunshine but also a lot of rain over night! . Beautiful this morning too but not sure for how long. I am surprised about how organised you are all being with their ATCs - I'm still thinking!! Well, no room to do anything at the mo. Enjoy your break, love n hugs Cindy xx #9

Glad you had some nice weather, here it's really cold, and today it's pouring into the bargain....It sounds scary that your caravan rocks in the wind, but perhaps it rocks you to sleep! Have a great day, hugs, Valerie

I hope the trip home will be nice - we have a Sunny day in Holland right now (and yesterday!) but with a wind blowing from the West, we get what you HAD so there might be coming rain and storm soon... Enjoy your day, love from Holland. Marit #12

Happy WOYWW. It is definitely windy. Hope you are ok in the caravan. The weather forecast for the weekend and into next week is a lot better, and we are looking forward to that. It is the noise of storms that I hate, even in our big old stone house, plus the fear of more damage to the farm buildings and the animals out in the fields. Stay safe everyone. Ali x #13

Hi Neet, high winds must be scary in your caravan.
Well done you for getting ahead with your ATCs.
Next week the weather down here is set to be sunny.
Yesterday was horrible out, so I was crafting too.
Take care and happy WOYWW

We seem to have experienced the same Easter weather all over the country. Friday and Saturday really fooled me and so when I woke up to chilly and rain again o Ester a Sunday, it took me a couple of hours to rearrange my mood! Didn’t do any crafting at all,and I’m envious that you’ve done your ATCs already. The wind is scary around the shape of the roof in our bedroom, so I can only imagine how it was for you at the caravan!

Your post pretty much sums up our Easter weekend also. The past 2 days have been just perfect with a no wind factor. Sounds like temps drop next week again ???just a crazy weather pattern here. Enjoy a great week with more outdoor fun.

Sounds like a very scary time in the Caravan, I hope you are OK! We were lucky to have wonderful weather all of Easter weekend, though still quite chilly as well. Have fun making your ATC's! Lindart #20

It feels scary in the caravan when it’s that windy doesn’t it. Big panic here as ours as just started leaking 🙈🙈. Happy WOYWW. Angela #15
