Well, it is another Wednesday and time for WOYWW again. The days seem to fly by and I am longing for a lovely Spring morning when I wake up to lovely sunshine ..... or a bit will do. It always makes me want to get up and get doing things, even cleaning up! Must say the way it has been all I want to do is hunker down and sleep. However I do have a card I made this week for a friend. It had to be one of the lovely hares from Lavinia, Lupin, I am sure she will like the thought behind it.
I need to get another card done asap for my niece's lovely little one. Not a clue what he is in to but I am sure I will not have the appropriate stamps so will do a generic one instead. I bet I forget to upload it as it is a real failure of mine, made a 70th for a man the other week but forgot all about doing a scan.
Well, at last I took my birthday cards down and have managed to do a quick video of them. So here you are, my handmade birthday cards for this year.

Tomorrow it is the funeral of my friend who passed on my birthday. There is something ironic about it all - the night before she passed we had been for a meal with friends up in the Valley and we are back there again tonight for another meal with the same friends but including the ones who did not make it because of the snow. Tomorrow, after the funeral we have been invited to go back for something to eat with the family and guess where it is? Yes, the same place yet again. Not sure how I feel about going tonight and again not about after the service tomorrow although we will.
Well, that is it for this week, hope that things brighten up for us all and we get to feel a bit of sunshine on our faces before too long. Take care all you lovely ladies out there, must get thinking about the ATC's before too long. It will be on us before we know it.

Hi Neet, I've thought about the ATCs! and that's about it though I'm not sure when we need to get them done for. I hope everything goes well for the funeral. Hopefully you'll have your wish today as I've woken up to the blue skies and sun that you are looking forward to. Let's hope the whole of the north west is waking up to the same. That’s a gorgeous card, I do love Lavinia stamps and particularly the hares of course! You’ve got a tough old couple of days ahead, I hope the funeral goes as well as these things can and that the meals in this one restaurant go ok also. I hope you can raise a glass to your dear friend who has passed.

OH I love that card. I've been working on 3x3 daily inkbox cards theme Mad as a March Hare I love rabbits and have found quite a few cute ones. Same feeling with Sunshine and Gloom....it's a mess here right now FOG, it melted snow yesterday, now 40's this week. We have no green/flowers or walking MUD MESS everywhere. Adore your Lupin card, so delicate and magical. I have approached the minister about the ladies breakfast class (it's just one I believe) and she said she'd get back to me, just needed to get Mother's day out of the way, so I guess anytime soon. Hugs BJ#10

Funerals are so hard. Be strong and be brave Neet. That is a coincidence you are going back to the same place again. I can understand why you might not feel sure about it. Oh I get it, the lack of real spring weather is just making me want to hibernate, I feel some warmth and sunshine are really over due now. Still, longer days are coming, so a t least the daylight will help! Beautiful hare card, s always you make a lovely one. As long as you enjoy the making of it, am perfectly sure that your great nephew will love your greeting. I understand about the restaurant dilemma…I think it’s prolly actually a good idea to go both times and sort of get it over with, your friend would not want you put off a nice place on her account, I’m perfectly sure. I know the funeral will be exhausting, but am sure it will touch you with the beauty of your friend.
