What a week this has been. I spent Monday glued to the television watching the funeral of Our Queen. Such a sad occasion with many a tear but how wonderful were the Royal Family and our new King who must have been breaking inside with his grief. I did hear this morning, Tuesday (yes, I am scheduling this), that the Queen Consort had been managing with a broken toe, we don't always realise just how much they put on a brave face for us their subjects do we?
Anyway, I am away again but this time have had no internet and that is why I am scheduling this down at a local library. It drives me crazy when I cannot get a signal - I have even tried standing outside but there is nothing. The other week it was fine out of doors at times so I expected it to be like that again. At this rate I think I will be going home soon. Just hope someone can link me, pretty please.
I did bring lots of supplies with me but I think I must have left a box of stuff at home as the things I really wanted are not here and so I am struggling - will have to do a rethink on what I can make. Maybe I should just have myself a bit of a holiday.
Well, I will leave it there for this week, short for Julia. Hope all is well with everyone.
I have been able to get on with my folio (far left) that I started with Carol at the Club the other week so that is a good thing. Now I want to do another one, it is such a great project but I want to do one in a different colour next.

I had heard that the Queen Consort had a broken toe. It must be tough because the Royals lives are such a balance between their own and being public figures who must set a tone. OH no about leaving a box of supplies at home. I hope you enjoy your time away and can figure out your creations without that box. I think you can do it as you are such a creative and talented lady. Happy mid-week Neet. hugs-Erika
How frustrating to miss a box of goodies Neet - and then to find you have no signal - yes - take a holiday and come back inspired and brimming with ideas :)
Blessings

Hope you don't cut short your trip for lack of internet although we do so rely on it! I agree about the funeral, it was a fabulous send off and I too was glued to it all day. Happy WOYWW Helen#?
I have linked you Helen xx
Hope you manage with the supplies you have Neet. Glad you can get on with the folio at least. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #1
Sometimes a break from everything creative is just what we need to reset and come back at it afresh, renewed and bursting with ideas. Enjoy your break, its very autumnal and beautiful at the moment. Nick had the funeral on the TV downstairs whilst I caught up with vampire films on my iPad upstairs. Hugs. P xxxxxx
Hi Neet, I think you're right just forget the crafting and enjoy your holiday. It must be great to be able to get away. Wishing you a very happy and relaxing woyww, Angela x9x
Always the way. You think you are prepared then realize you left something absolutely essential behind - like glue or scissors. Bah! Looking forward to seeing the finished Folio :)
Happy WOYWW from my bed with a bad back. Ugh!

I e given up taking paper crafting away with me Neet, on some holidays it hasn’t even come out of the packing, so now it’s my trusty embroidery or something similar. And I don’t fret about doing that or not doing that, either! Internet is such a thing in our lives now isn’t it, it was excellent in our hotel during the day, but pants at night when I was actually in there trying to use it. Frustrating, but glad you managed to schedule a post. Enjoy your stay away!
Morning Neet. Sorry you have left some things at home - but, yes, a holiday sounds like a plan!! Just what I could do with at the moment, but am not going to get!
Take care. God bless.

Hi Neet, I just wrote a long comment and it disappeared, so here you have a short one! It's very annoying not having a signal. Hope it gets better soon. Hugs, Valerie
Hello Neet 🤗 I'm hoping 🙏 you don't come away early due to the Internet... enjoy the peace my lovely, relax and yes have that holiday ... everything will be there when you get home 💕 The Royal family shone bright for the Queen and now time for them to grieve, take some time for themselves 🙏 out of the spotlight. Sending you lots of love with hugs Tracy #15 xxxxx
What a long day for the Queen Consort with a broken toe! They were all marvellous at keeping their emotions in check, it must have been an ordeal for them all. We watched the TV for most of the day, the end of an era. Happy WOYWW. Angela #18
I didn't watch the funeral but I've seen many great photos and videos.
Hope your internet gets nice.
Have a great week.

Oh bad luck that you forgot some of the stuff..how annoying. I guess a complete break won’t be too bad, hope you manage to have a relaxing enjoyable time.
I won’t be around for the next couple of weeks, see you soon!
