Well, I did manage to finish off my Polaroids - done 31 of them now and I am making them into a book in the next few days but also am starting a new set of them because I enjoyed doing the so much. So if you followed me on Instagram you will see me posting again in the next few days. In the meantime:
25 - 27 of my Polaroids
28 - 30 of my Polaroids
31 Last one for this set
Julia made me laugh on FB with her comment on this last one. Brill Julia, good one!
But you came on here to look at my desk - well here it is. If it looks a bit too tidy it's because I have also been crafting elsewhere for the most part because my back has been a bit 'jittery' and I have needed to sit in my straight backed chair.
As you can see, there is nothing really on my desk. My glass mat has moved from underneath the window part of my worktop and now has a dirty yellow cloth on it. Not really dirty dirty, I use it to clean my stamps. A clear stamp I have just used for my journal tomorrow (everything else put away) a notebook with a clean up of my Distress tools on it (I quite like the look of it so it will get used - a future Polaroid?) some craft mat pieces that I use to protect pages in my journal when painting and my Ebosser. The Ebosser never gets used because it is not normally in my craft room so I've moved it to see if I use it a bit more or will I want that space it occupies? If so, it goes back on the trolley.
Here is another trolley, as opposed to the one with my die cutting things on, this time with my craft stuff on that I have been using to colour my images in when my back has been hurting. Some of my colouring mediums, my beaker with my pill box stuck in it, my Felix box with my small JK stamps and my pill storage things on top of it (waiting to be put away), glue, scissors and my flesh Promarkers. I would like to change over to Copics but have you seen the price of them? Wow, I cannot see me buying those, guess I need to learn to use all the different colouring mediums that I have.
Well, that is it for this week, it is Tuesday night now and I must get to bed, too many late mornings recently (yes, I do mean mornings) so it's time to link to WOYWW and then see tomorrow what everyone else has on their desks.

Hope your back eases again soon, you've not mentioned it lately and I hoped it was behaving! Hope you as well as Julia, work out how to get on with your pens. Have a good week. Helen #5
Hope the back is less jittery soon Neet. I have really enjoyed your polaroids and I am pleased that you will be making more. I agree about the price of Copics which is why I don't own any at all. Haven't used ProMarkers in a while though as I tend to use water based pens now. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
Hope your back pain eases soon. Love the polaroids you've been posting, they'll make a smashing book. And I know what you mean about copics - expensive and don't last as long as Promarkers. Like you I tell myself to use the stuff I already have. P xxxxxxx
I love all your Polaroids - they will be fab as a book and I really look forward to seeing how you bind them. So many options....And yeah, Copics are by far the best, although I like the idea of the Tri-Blend ones as it's fewer physical items to take up space. My problem with most is they have the fat nib and the "fine" nib but I really prefer a brush nib. I find the fat chisel tips pretty useless cause I never colour huge swaths of area. We are always on a quest for the "perfect" tools and then, no sooner do we pull the trigger and buy one, something new comes out that sounds even MORE perfect LOL!
Back on track :D

Good morning Neet, I’d love an hour sat at your desk fiddling with all your stuff. Promise not to make a mess heehee

Morning Neet. Well, I confess I don't do Facebook - but I reckon that young lady in the last polaroid picture is giving that chicken a look which is suggesting Sunday dinner!! Yum...
I hope that working in your straight back chair means your back soon stops feeling jittery - then we will see you back at your desk. My goodness - just look at all those pens and things. I gave all my Promarkers to one of my grandchildren - I simply didn't use them. She, I think uses them a lot, so that's good.
Take care. God bless.

I am loving your polaroids - they are so cute and I can see why you are continuing with them. I shall look forward to seeing your new ones. Sorry to hear your back is a bit 'jittery', I hope it settles down soon,
Have a lovely crafty week,

Hi Neet. Late nights for me too and I suffer....I need my sleep. I've really loved all you've been doing lately and can see why you are making more.
Look after that back my friend.
Hugs,

I have been having a closer look at your lovely backgrounds and I wondered if your figures were cut out and placed on the background or whether you used a masking technique? Great job whichever way you do it. Angela #9
I have really enjoyed seeing the Polaroids, a great style which gives lots of scop, MY absolute fav is N0 27, she’s got read hair, a sewing machine and the thing she’s holding in her hand could be my extendable pitchfork, which I shall use when I’m storing parliament sometime (once a rebel….) Absolutely brilliant!
I’m sorry your back is not playing fair and really hope that you’ve caught it early. I have so many ways of colouring as well and am definitely not buying anymore. Apart from fabric and yarn for chairs projects, I am not buying any more stash this year!

Hope your back eases soon Neet. I’ve really enjoyed seeing your Polaroids. No 27 is Jan with her pitchfork for me!
Why stop when you’re having fun 😏
Take care and happy WOYWW

Happy WOYWW. I must go and follow you on Instagram (or perhaps I already am, but missed you? I can go for days now without going on there). Loving the polaroids. I am finding that reducing the amount of stuff I have in my craft room (and in the rest of the house) is making me use things more, although having more crafting time would also help! Sorry to hear that your back is being trouble. My ribs have been flaring up in the past week, although some ibuprofen and rest sorts that out. I have had a few Copics in the past, but don't do a lot of colouring now, so never invested. I have seen some YouTube reviews that say there are plenty of cheaper options on Amazon now that are just as good. Ohuhu is often mentioned. Ali x #19
I love this little girl, I'd love to have all her stamps ! My dentist suggested 1 Advil/ 1 Tylenol arthritis tablet for pain and IT has made a lot of difference for me. Never heard of 2 different at one time but it worked plus my hot rock bag !!! Have a good week. I love February
Love those beautiful Polaroids, I haven't found you on FB yet! Hugs, Valerie
So sorry that you back is still hurting you, but you seem to have everything under control! I've always thought Copics were too expensive, so I only have a few of the most basic colours. I would love to have more as well, but...Your polaroids are wonderful! Each one tells a story, so fun! Have a great week, Lindart #20
It is no fun to be in pain. I hope it eases soon. I probably have to re-introduce myself! I haven't been here in years. But I'm back! LOL It is so good to see friends I haven't seen in so long. You have as many markers as Julia! We do like our toys. Happy Day!
Hello Neet! So fun to see you again. I haven't been here for a couple of years, but I'm back! ;)
You have as many markers as Julia! We love our toys! I hope your back pain eases up.
Happy Day!
Hi Neet, glad you liked my technique with the wax paper. you could fold it as well as crease it and create different patterns which could be fun. I love the Polaroids and quite tempted to do some now I've finished the concertina book. I have an eBosser and hardly use it. I keep my fold up big shot under the desk and just pull it out when I need it which is not a good use of the other machine or space so I know what you mean. Take care and have a great woyww. Hugs, Angela 16x
I guess it’s good that you can recognise when your back starts to trouble, but really it doesn’t give you much chance in between jittering does it. Best take your chicken for a gentle walk, keep gently mobile! Loving the trolley full of stuff to work on in your straight back chair, it would be awful not to be able to do anything, especially if it can help to take your mind off the grumbling back pain. Funny about you wanting to change to Copics; I bought a full set about ten years ago when I was demo-ing and earning decently. They are now giving up the ghost a bit and I am replacing them with Tri Blends, they are by no means the same but for me, the 3 shades of blendable in each pen is much more useful. I’m not a great colourer, I just like doing it, so I think the Copics, while gear, ere definitely a purchase made in haste and under used in terms of getting the very best from them!
Those polaroids are fantastic Neet. I do love those Janet Klein stamps. They are too fun. And I like seeing your desk set up too. I am just starting a revamp of the spare room where my studio is. I'm collecting ideas. Hope February is going well for you, all 2 days of it at least. Hugs-Erika
Sorry I'm late
Love all your promarkers.... I'm not good at making decisions so I only have a few of them. Did you use them to colour your Polaroids? I'm not very good with mine, ink runs.
Love all your Polaroids, I had hoped to join in but time....
Have a good week, hope your back stays good

I have hundreds of promarkers and those little add on fine tips. Copic, I have 14... all of them along with the Prorkers were in storage for years...while i was walking dogs and not blogging. After watching Lawn Fawnand and seeing how the lady's colour in those tiny stamped images I thought I might get some more Copic, but once more, as all those years back, the price stopped me. The lady in Hobby Craft said they'd stopped stocking them ages ago and thought they'd finished. Anyway, lovely pictures of a very usuful work place! Sorry I'm late...dog walking and vet visits are calling! (Luckily the fish don't say much!)Happy WOYWW!? Stay Safe and keep On Crafting! ((Lyn)) #23...last!
Oh your polaroids are just delightful, not surprised you want to do more. Sorry your back has been hurting, hope it settles soon. BJ#13
So sorry your back continues giving you so much pain, Neet. We have different pill storage boxes but the need is something we have in common. I've never tried Copic pens and, given what you've said about the price, I'll be sticking to my Promarkers too. I think we all love your Polaroids. They are brilliant. Hope you have a great weekend.
