WOYWW 660

I would like to thank those of you who have given me a 'like' on Facebook or the heart on Instagram.  Some people are getting lots of hearts on Instagram, I've seen one at 135.  She must have a lot of friends.  Here is my catch up for those of you who have not seen them:

16 - 18 of my Polaroids

19 - 21 of my Polaroids

22 - 24 of my Polaroids

I had a busy day yesterday.  One of my craft group friends is not well so I had to make making her a Get Well Card a priority and I wanted to get a start on my Polaroid Book that I intended making when I first did them, then there were my ATC's for my swap with my bestie.  Of course there was the Thursday Journal page to be done so I closeted myself in my craft room for part of the day.  It gets lovely and warm in there so it's lovely to be creating.  Oh - and first thing I made a date and walnut cake.  This was an old recipe from before I went into teaching when I worked as secretary to the District Education Officer and was one that I scaled down from a recipe made by the School Meals Service.

Got all my jobs done except the Journal page so that is on the cards for today.  I need some more figures stamping for my Dylusion pages so that means a lot of stamping and fussy cutting is on the horizon for the rest of the week.  The card and the ATC's are going in the post as soon as I get myself organised and print out Royal Mail labels - gosh postage is expensive these days.

Right will leave it there and hopefully catch up with friends on WOYWW during the morning.  See you there?

Wow these are wonderfully bright and colourful. Very cheery. Have fun with the fussy cutting, not a skill I am particularly good at. However a warm craft room is the perfect place to hide out when its cold xx

Such cute little scenes - I'll definitely give you hearts, Neet, if I can find them - they haven't come up on my feed. The algorithms work in mysterious ways! Best wishes to you xx zsuzsa #17

Morning Neet. Phew - reading all that you have achieved I feel quite exhausted! I think I might need to go lie down in a darkened room!!! Well done. Cute little pictures. Can't like or follow, I'm afraid, as I don't do any of the social media sites :-( so no little hearts available...
Take care dear girl. God bless.

Your polaroids are so sweet and I've enjoyed seeing them on Facebook, although I think there are one two that I haven't seen. I love working in a square format, it gives a whole different feel to the work.
Hope you have lovely creative day and a great week,

I love the square format, it works really well, and I’ve enjoyed seeing them on FB> The one of the red haired girl with the sewing machine really made me smile, she could be my avatar!! I don’t know what she was holding but it didn’t half look like my extendable pitchfork, lol!! The date and walnut cake sounds lush, please could I have your recipe because Gordon said Yum when I mentioned it to him!!

Sounds like we have both been busy baking this week - I love date and walnut but G doesn't as his Mum fed him with it most weekends and I guess you can have too much of a good thing. I have enjoyed seeing all your little Polaroids. xx Jo

Cor you said it about postage! I keep telling myself that I couldn’t take it to the recipient for that price, so as to help my feeling that I’m being robbed!! Your Polaroids are fantastic, they will make such a great book. You’ve been really busy at your desk this week, how lovely. I’ve got the opposite problem and have had to install a fan heater under my desk which I forget to put on for a little advance heating. Just as well I’ve been busy at the dining table instead!

You have been very busy! I wish my stamp room was nice and warm and cozy, but sadly it's at least 2 degrees colder, and when it's -30°C outside, it's a little chilly! I have been contemplating Julia's idea of having a heater in there! Your polaroids are super cute, and I hope your friend feels better soon. Have a great week, Lindart #27

Hi Neet. The Polaroids are lovely, it's a great idea but I just seem to have got behind with stuff so don't really want to start anything new but I am tempted. I read your question about the waxed paper from the cereal boxes. I have used them by screwing them up tight and then opening them up, place some paper over the top and iron it slowly which transfers some of the wax making an abstract pattern on the card, when you rub on the ink ( prefer Oxides for this) the wax will work as a resist then just rub over which removes any excess ink from the wax. Have a great woyww. Hugs, Angela x16x

Hi Neet! Thanks for the earlier visit and your sympathy. I often think of you when I'm having a bad day, wondering how you've put up with it all this time and wonder if I'm just a baby!! You've certainly had a busy time - I feel very unproductive at the mo - apart from WOYWW all I've managed today is a walk and the washing. Oh well, hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Happy WOYWW, stay safe, stay well, love n hugs Cindy xx #22.

sounds as though your craft room is a wonderful place to be in - and to be able to spend most of the day there - bliss! Wonderful results too, Neet. Loving those wee polaroid cards!
Stay safe

Hi Neet, I'm still loving your Polaroids. A book to keep them in is a great idea. I wish I was anything like as productive as you. Takes me all my time to keep house, cook the meals and find a smidgen of time to scrap, let alone make a cake. Hope you're having a great weekend. Elizabeth x #28
