Another Wednesday, another WOYWW and I am away again, will be back later today. Only had a couple of days this time as I had a workshop on Saturday and didn't finish it because I am awaiting some stamps coming. Could have easily used a substitute but as the one to be used was in my order I decided to wait. So my desk today is as left so that when I get back later today I hope the stamps are waiting for me and I can get on and complete these pages.
As you can see from the photo below it was an online workshop and was with Tracy Evans, as per usual, and I just loved the colours of this journal page she showed us.
Sorry, still not got around to doing any of the videos I keep saying I will do; one day before Christmas they will get done. I did think Zsuzsa's video might have spurred me on last week, I did so enjoy it, but then I kept thinking "follow that one" - it was absolutely delightful. She is so talented.
No glorious sunsets for you to see, we had hoped for one last night as it was our anniversary which is why we chose to be away for it but I was intrigued by some of the plants growing in the rocks that line the sands to the promenade. Not a clue what these are but they look like succulents.
You can see from this photo how there are huge rocks stretching quite a way along the front to the actual beach. It is surprising what springs up from within them - quite a few sycamores and a lovely cotoneaster at one place.
As you can see from the picture above the beach is covered in pebbles which have built up into a bank at this point. We did enjoy seeing the birds although they were too far out for me to photograph with my phone but I will leave you with this picture where the dots are actually oyster catchers (I think).

happy anniversary! shame about the sunset (it was gorgeous here last night) but the beach and those rocks with the plants growing . I hope you get your workshops finished and you can share the results (video or not!) Have a great week. Helen #2
Attempt 2! Hope the stamps are waiting for you on your return Neet. Happy anniversary. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
That looks like a fabulous page under construction on your desk Neet.
What a fascinating beach with the rocks and then the pebbles.
Congratulations on your anniversary
Stay safe
Blessings

That page is so very pretty! It makes me long to push other things aside and work in my art journal but I am still having too much fun with those other things to actually do it LOL! But I keep saying one day... Agree with you on Zsuzsa as she certainly is inspiring - but then you are too :) Don't miss the sunset given the lovely plants. They are intriguing - do you have one of the plant identifying apps? I might check with the Hubster and see if he can run that photo thru it. Now I'M curious too! Just another WOYWW...
Happy WOYWW, early today :)

Glad you had some time away. Those succulents are pretty, we have similar ones here growing out of the cracks between to bridge and the pavement! Have a great day, hugs,Valerie
Happy anniversary Neet! Shame the sunset wasn’t playing. I
I saw you mentioned getting some eye gel. If you can find Clinitas Soothe they’re very good. Pretty colours in your journal pages. Hope your stamps have arrived
Take care and happy WOYWW

Definitely Oystercatchers! There are so many of them on the estuary at Burry Port, they look like black smudges along the timeline! Plants are amazing aren’t they, how they manage to find a foothold with enough nutrients to grow. Happy Anniversary to you both! I’m glad you’re having a lovely time away to celebrate and you’ll return home refreshed to enjoy the workshop with the new stamps!

Happy anniversary. It's lovely to be at the coast - whatever the weather. xx Jo
Happy Anniversary, looks like a fun get a way, Loving all your photos. I do like Tracy Evans works and your page is delightful. Hope to see it finished. Have a great week and Happy WOYWW
How fun to get away. And happy belated anniversary. I am curious to see how your page comes out, but I love those inky blocks. Cool idea! hugs-Erika
Happy Anniversary! How nice to go away for the special day. Ours is coming up soon, but we won't be going away. The plant almost looks like a lamb's ear - is it soft? It's amazing what kind of conditions plants will grow in! Lovely journal page today! Have a great week, Lindart #23
Happy anniversary, Neet, and I'm glad you've got away again. What stunning photos - the shoreline looks so wonderfully remote and rugged. The monochrome of the stones is set off by the extraordinary plants. Your journal page is also stunning - I just love the colours, and the beautiful butterflies. You can never have enough butterflies in my opinion!
Thank you for your lovely comment, and I'm really glad you enjoyed seeing my projects this week. I am so enjoying being back in the studio and actually having time to play for a change! This afternoon I made a card out of some of those layered stamped/die cut flowers and I'm quite pleased with it - for the background I used that piece of card that was stained in a circular pattern when I was cleaning the CDs. Photos next time, if not before.
My duplicate parcels have started arriving! So annoying, having to send half of them back!
Happy WOYWW,

oh that looks really pretty Anita, can't wait to see it finished when you get the new stamp. I wonder what that plant is too, I love succulents and that one is interesting and huge! Happy anniversary and Happy WOYWW! Elle #21, EOTC
Hi Net, bet you thought I'd got lost but just needed to get some more gardening done and then a friend asked us to pop over and before you know it's time for bed Lol! That workshop looks fun and the colours are just what we need at the moment. Interesting photos too. Wishing you a lovely creative woyww, Angela xXx
Happy Anniversary. What a lovely place to go and celebrate. I love being near the coast. Fabulous art journal page, very bright and colourful. Hope you will show us the finished page once your stamp arrives :) xxxxx
Happy anniversary week! Nice to be able to just decide to go away again isn’t it! I think you’re very strong in deciding to wait for the post to show up with the right stamp, not one of my strength and the reason I spoil some stuff, for sure! The pages look really lovely, and slightly out of the ordinary colour choices for a Tracy workshop I think? Hope your eyes are improved, the consultant said to me that if they feel gritty and sore, wash em with a milk bath, because it’s slightly thicker than water, it’ll likely draw out any minuscule grime and leave them feeling a lot better. Works too, we use it as a tip quite regularly given the dust and airborne particles in the workshop. Goggles are useful but mostly are vented so don’t keep out the small stuff!
Loving your art pages even if there is more to come. A belated happy anniversary. It’s so nice to be on the beach. Have a great week. Angela #8
Back again! The idea was to use A4 paper as I had thought there would be a narrow border, but the envelopes are a lot bigger - should have measured them! So they will be used for another project. Plan B was devised and put into operation . Will be showing that next week - or as far as I have got! X Angela #8
Hi Neet. I seem to have got behind this week as there have been lots of distractions but always like to try and visit everyone if I can. Loving your journal pages and the photos too. Wishing you a very happy belated woyww, Angela x16x
Happy Belated WOYWW & also Happy Belated Anniversary. Glad you had a happy time away. I am no help in identifying those plants. I definitely advise getting one of the plant identification apps. The colours on that journal page are glorious. I bought a few online workshops in the past months, and then not done any of them yet! Ali x #4
