Here we are again, these Wednesdays come around awfully quickly, but then so do Mondays and Tuesdays DOH! At least Wednesday's are a nice change from the rest of the week because I get to see what all my friends are up to on their desks by checking in on WOYWW with Ms Julia, the Queen of Deskers. Why not join in with us here and find out all about it?
I might be a bit late commenting today as I have a workshop this morning with Tracy Scott, painting a gorgeous Geisha Girl. Well, the one Tracy did is absolutely gorgeous but I doubt mine will be. Mind you I have to see if my materials arrive in time and, as I just found out, I do not have the necessary journal to do it in so I am starting off with a trial piece/practice piece on some spare journal paper. I thought I had all things covered and then March arrived and I was thrown by it. Don't worry though, I promise I will try to catch up with you all in the coming days.
I am using both sides of my L-shaped desk today - the side that I am showing to you is where I am doing some stamping and colouring in my square journal. I recently treated myself to some of the A4 stamps from AALL & Create and have had this idea in my head for quite some time.
and a close up
The second photo shows you in more detail just what I have been stamping with the actual stamps on the left hand side. I did the man (the ship is to go on his head) and the magnifying glass, both stamps are two I have longed for for ages. Bought in a Pick and Mix so I got them at reduced prices.
At the very left of the first photo are my Felix boxes, painted, and one is filled with toilet roll inners. I find that a great way to store some things - good for coloured pens or pencils as you can keep them in colour families. Nothing else except dirty baby wipes from cleaning my stamps (yes, I DO clean my stamps religiously) and the pack of babywipes at the far right. The other side of my desk (it is a letter L) is just set up ready for my class later this morning.
Yesterday I was busy doing a couple of videos and loading them up on my You Tube Channel. I'll show you one of them as it should have been received by now but you will have to wait until next week for the other one, Can't give you video overload,
Hope it works - Toodle Pip!

I love those stamps!! Hope your journal arrives, and enjoy the class! I'll be off to work soon. Helen #5
I love your little Judith Klein book - it reminds me of those mini dolls houses we used to have with the rooms in each compartment. Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #7
You are so versatile! All those scary arty stamps that you’re using in a journal and then there’s a little JK car in the background, all pink and fun! I hope you enjoy the workshop, what a nice distraction for midweek!
Good morning Neet
I won’t keep you. Hope you’re well. There’s lots going on this week on your desk.
Enjoy your workshop. We are never to old to keep learning are we. It just takes longer to sink in with me haha.
Love Lynn xx 15
Yeah I'm with Helen - those stamps are fab. In the small size, the side-facing guy reminded me of Shaz's Doug! Finally managed to get that box of goodies off. Hope it makes it to your friend and she finds it useful. Your book of Janet is super sweet. Love the little scenes - how clever! The title of it is PERFECT.
Happy desk hopping' day!

Morning Neet. I hope by now you are comfortably enjoying your class!!! Those stamps are enormous - enjoy using your pick and mix... You really enjoy making those little books. I still safely have the one you gave me when I first met you at the craft show.
Take care, God bless.

Amazing book Neet xxx
Wow, those stamps look amazing - as does your little house book - never seen one like that before! I hope you're having fun with your workshop - I look forward to seeing you Geisha girl - I'm sure she will be gorgeous whatever surface or journal you put her in/on. Lovely to see you so busy xx zsuzsa #22
I hope you enjoyed your class Neet. I may have to pop back to watch the video.
Hugs,
Annie x
I do hope you enjoy the class, it sounds good fun and perfect to have a try before your new materials arrive! Do you find it easy to keep up with live classes? I only ask because the reason I like YouTube tutorials is cos I can stop, rewind and watch things again, I’m better working at my own pace. The toilet rolls idea is a good one, I might do that with my brushes and pencils.
Hope you’re keeping ok lovely gal, we’ll have to have a catch up soon.

Looks like you've been having fun at your craft desk! Love the stamp you used 😁. Your Book of Janet Klein Figures is amazing, the video is fabulous and wow, what an amazing design - love it! I hope that you enjoyed the sunny weather the last few days, it seems to be getting colder again now. Happy wishes! Hugs, Jo x
Your little book is a real treasure Neet - clever and beautifully made. xx Jo
I hope you manage to get by in the class without all your items Neet, i'm sure you have things to substitute those bits not around right now. Love that stamp, I have to admit i've not brought any AALL & Create stamps this year, the collections are getting to vast and i've so many from the past that have not seen any ink yet. It's hard to resist so not watching TV/Craft Channels is helping keep money in my pocket right now. Not sure how long it will last. Have fun creating and please share your Tracy workshop makes.

I hope you enjoyed your class this morning Neet - it sounds like fun - I've just finished a jigsaw of a Geisha, I love Japanese style and ornament, it's always so beautiful and elegant. I really love the new stamps, they are beautifully detailed and I can feel the temptation drawing me to the website!!
Hope you have a good week, stay safe and well,

Stunning stamps Neet. I have a few Carabelle XXL and they are cool too. Hope your new journal turns up soon. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
Hello Neet, I am looking forward to seeing your Geisha girl. I am sure you will enjoy the course. Your stamps look very unusual, enjoy your art Angela #17
Loving your desk and hope you enjoy the class. Sorry I'm missing in action again this week - we have building work at ours and every evening I am having to move things round the house to make way for the next thing! I hope to be back next week. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. Caro xx
Neet, I LOVE those stamps! So unique and I love what you have started with, in your square journal. I have been wanting one of those forever!! Those stamps look great!!! I can't wait to see what you do with the Geisha girl!! I love the Geisha and have watched man a documentary on them! I would so love to visit Japan and see that culture for myself! Bucket list! LOL I hope your journal has made it in by now or at least soon! I know that is probably a bummer when you want to start off right and not have to wait! I will have to go check your vids out! I didn't know you had a YouTube channel! I'm not tech savy enough for that! LOL Have a great Wednesday and rest of your week! Blessings! Felicia #26
I love those A4 stamps and ordered the Magnify one from Hochanda which did not arrive as they sent the wrong set but it's sorted now and can't wait to use them. Have a very creative week and a happy woyww, Angela x19x
Hope your class worked out and you managed the painting o.k. Neet. loved your weed book, that is gorgeous
Stay safe
Blessings
Maxine
Hi Neet, hope you enjoyed your class, and that your supplies arrived in time! I love the JK book. I am going to buy some more of the JK stamps - but not decided whether I will go for the polymer stamps, or the digital ones we discussed. Clearly having 2 stamps is not enough, now I am a bona fide journaller lol. I've had my first vaccination, so I am counting down the days till I can see my daughters and grandchildren! And, we will hopefully have our crafty day together!! Have a lovely week, Heather xx #25
Ooh I have serious stamp envy! But still on a shopping embargo so will have to wait..... How strange, one of my craft club ladies message me to ask how to make a pop up card like that just yesterday - I could have sent your video!! I wonder what the second little book is like? (GRIN) Have a good week, stay safe, stay well, love n hugs Cindy xx#18
Awesome photos of the desks this week. I love the idea of a "L" shaped desk. Hmmm...Have a wonderful week. Dorlene #30
Gorgeous stamps, Neet, and your little book video is a delight. Is there a pattern or instructions somewhere of how to construct a book like that? I love how it shows the rooms, and how it all folds flat. I left a comment on your YouTube channel. I love your desk - it all looks so well organised.
Happy belated WOYWW,
