Gosh, just struck me that this is the fifth week on WOYWW since our 600th celebration. Has time gone fast or what? Hope you all had a nice New Year, quiet and no big parties thereby staying safe and well. Well, it happened, we are all in lockdown and from what I have seen via messages and FB there was a lot of panic buying the day of the announcement.
Well, in order to make a good start to 2021 I decided to tackle my craft room, bit by bit as and when I can (back permitting) so I started off by moving my ink pads all on the same wall instead of some to my left and some to my right. I found I had duplicated some and had some brand new ones never even opened! What am I like? I was pleased at how clean and tidy it looked (not telling how much dust was there).
As you can see from the top photo I have my Tracy Evans books on display on top of the ink pads - Memento, Versafine, Versafine Clair, Archival, Brilliance, Versamagic, Adirondack, Stazon, Opalite, Ton and Chalk Ink pads. There are a few other odds too like Wendy Vecchi, Catherine Pooler and Izink. My Distress Inks and Oxides are not here but in a drawer and on the window sill. I must find somewhere else for them at a later date. Elizabeth's little yellow tray makes an idea home for the tiny Versa Color ink pads that sit with the silver tin of Archival small ones.
Oh dear, quite a few had dried up and ended up in the bin but this year I decided to be ruthless and not try to reinstate them to their original state (which never happens). Good job I had shown you my new inkpad display wall or you would not have seen it. I asked, on FB, for some ideas of how to store paint. I don't think anyone knew how much paint I was talking about. Here is most of my acrylic paint. Only acrylic! I have sent for another trolley as I decided I would keep them on there but still need something, like boxes, to hold them in their piles of manufacturers.
Above is a view of the room with paints out - Now individually ...

wow, you probably have as much paint as I do... or I have as much as you do... glad you got your inks sorted, I have mine all over and obviously loads I haven't used for yonks will probably be dried up, I must do something about that! Hope the trolley solves your problems! Helen #2
Wow, your work space looks so tidy and organised, just wonderful! Have a great week, hugs, Valerie
Like me, you have a lovely and tidy space for this WOYWW. For both of us I hope it continues - my resolve to make a mess, make a project, then tidy up has lasted longer than that resolve has in the past. I am loving having the space to work! I ended up binning a TON of stuff that was no longer fit for purpose. No idea why I held on to it for so long.
Wish I could see your books a little closer :)
Happy WOYWW 2021!

Love how organised your craft room is. Lots of lovely paints too, I can but imagine all the fabulous journal pages you be creating this year with them. Interesting to read about someone who is sad to take down decorations on the 5th. It's my Mum's birthday on the 6th and I grew up with putting it all away on the 5th and preparing for birthday celebrations. These days, I'm more of a grinch and was glad not to put a tree up this time. We had a string of fairy lights only which was nice and easy to pack away lol. Hope you've got lots of creative projects to see you through the current lockdown xxx
Hello Neet!
Congratulations, your things are in such a great order. I'm noticing that your thing are in super order as well in the side page, all are in alphabetic order. :)
Be well and safe xx
Good morning Neet
Oh you’ve made me so happy, it’s nice to see someone else doing the same as me.
I started tackling my space this week and I’m glad I have. It feels good to have a rejig and the more I do, the more I want to do.
Watch your back missus. I’m saying the same to myself.
Much love Lynn xxx 20
Sorry I didn't get to leave messages last week [I did read all my favourite blogs though]. Thankfully the side effects from my injection have just about worn off now [it's taken all week though :-(].
You've done a really good job with all the tidying and organising...what a lot of paints you've got...def need to get some of them used up :-)
Stay safe and well.
Hugs,
Annie x #8
The word is defo WOW!!!
Do Hobbycraft have that much paint! Oh to live close by so that I could come and play too, Neet. Hugs, Sue #21 xx
Happy new year Neet! Thanks for your visit earlier. That was my first attempt at making a bee; it’s rather too fat for a honey bee but I hope my friend will like it.
Your desk looks very organised
Take care, stay safe and happy WOYWW
Hugs

Oh my goodness, so much stuff! It's wonderful to see all your supplies - you could open a shop - or even a department store LOL! What a feast for the eyes and I spotted that printer's tray on top of your shelves - I've been meaning to make one of those for ages. Thanks for your visit, Neet - yes, that is a Thomas Kinkade painting - you probably still remember it from three years ago. I need to have a connection to the image in order to do a puzzle and I definitely had a connection with that one - I can just imagine myself walking in that beautiful scene! Stay safe - it won't be long before things get better, I'm sure - in the meantime, let's try and enjoy the positives of the situation as there are some. xx zsuzsa #26
So much stuff but so beautifully organised and sorted!! This is my New Year virtual hug - thank goodness for our WOYWW link up. It does us good to know there are still folks out there thinking about us and loving what we do. I am making your little gnome card into a gift tag for Ben - he will love them!! All the best Neet - take care and stay safe. xx Jo
It makes me happy to see all that stuff cos now I don't feel quite so guilty Lol! I try to check paint occasionally to stop them drying out but there's always some that have no hope. Your studio is looking good and very organised ready for more play time I think. Thanks for the visit to mine and wishing you a lovely woyww, Angela x19x
Happy New year Neet. I love the trip through your happy space. I would be very happy there as it is much more neatly organized than mine. I am organized, but my space is so small it's hard to get to some things. Organized or not. Hope your 2021 is going well!
Wow, that's a lot of paints and your craft room looks so beautifully organised - well done! Nice to start a fresh with less clutter and it looks like you planned everything so things are easy to find too 😁. Happy wishes and all the best for 2021! Let's hope it's a better year for everyone! Hugs, Jo x
Good to see you having a start on the sorting, I really ought to do the same. Loving your wall colour, maybe I could be so bold if we ever de-do my bedroom. Hubby hasn't slept with me for over 16 years so I think I could get away with pink now, no excuses LOL! But for now you've given me a little incentive to start sorting my craft corner out. Happy New Year BJ#24
I LOVE your craft room - so organised! Ha Ha I see what you mean now about the paints, I thought I had a lot but I was wrong :). Hope your back is okay after all that. Our tree came down just before New Year - not superstitious at all and it was taking up valuable room in our small house. I am back working at home - that means I can get the chance to join in with a few more things. Hope you are well lovely xxx Soojay #31
Great job organizing! I don't have a lot of paint so I can't help you there. You have a great creative space ~ Enjoy your week! Love, Karen #32
Cripes, that’s a lot of paint! Another set of drawers is probably the best way to go re storage but the thing I like most is your peg board for your tools, how satisfying is that?! I’m glad you’re keeping ok xx
Hugs LLJ 16 xxx
Wow Neet, I know you said you had a lot of paints, but I don't think I realised how many you have - and if that is just acrylics - oh my goodness! No wonder you need an excellent storage system! Your inks and peg board are very tidy - I've looked at the peg boards, but I have no wall space for one at present. I just like the look of them! Thanks for stopping by earlier- the Jan Blan is certainly growing rapidly - won't take long to finish it I'm sure. I'm hoping I keep the momentum up with the journal. It's not a specific journal - I'll doodle in it, maybe draw (badly), and ... I gave in and ordered a couple of Janet Klein stamps. I know I said I wouldn't use them in cards, but I can use them in my journal. Don't worry about a bit of dust - it will add flavour to the gin, my dear! So long as we get a crafty visit in that's all that matters. Have a lovely week, Heather xx #15
I had a very quiet New Year, apart from the local revelers letting off fire works etc at midnight....
Your paint collection is umm, err, massive :) i am sure it will get better used once it is all tidy.. I am having to be very disciplined in my setting up in the rental as I have far less space.
Stay safe
Blessings
Maxine
HI Neet,
your paints make me smile. I do not have that many of those so, mine fit in a wheeled IKEA cart that has three tiers of bins to put stuff into and paints are in the top two. ( but there are other bottles of stuff mixed in and I forget what colors I have so, I end up laughing at my self when I get them home as I tend to buy similar colors over and over) Its nice to see everything all organized too. ~Stacy #34
You certainly have a humungous amount of paint Neet. I have most of mine in trolleys (3 of them) but I also have a double wide unit from Inkylicious on my desk which houses all my Oxides, my full set of Dylusions paints and my ywo trays of Golden High Flow on top. Good liuck with the rest of the sorting. Happy New Year, stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
You're right - that's a lot of paint! And a very pink wall...
Well done on getting everything sorted as much as you have. It is heartbreaking to have throw stuff away, but that just gives us an excuse to buy replacements, right? ;)
Happy WOYWW!
Morti #23
My you have a lot of paint! I was looking for Tracey’s books, thinking I wonder how much the cost? When I. Realised you meant books you had done from one of her classes - laughing! Have a great week Angela #13
Your beautiful room is looking absolutely fanstastic, Neet! Well done with all the organising. Would you like to come down and have a go at mine? It's such a vast job that I put off doing it, especially as that room is really freezing at the moment! I expect I'll get round to it eventually but I'm so busy with other things at the moment, and anxious to get the kitty throw completed as soon as possible as my hubby is still waiting for his Christmas present!
Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi x #18
My tree's still up Neet. Hubby has taken down the lights in the front garden but the ones in the back garden are still blinking away merrily. I thought we'd be like the Queen and leave them up til feb when a father past away but both our Fathers past away in Sept and Oct.... then of course we could've just left them up until next Christmas! Your crafty space is looking very tidy...mine is a...mess. unless a magic crafty fairy turns up! So, stay safe, happy 2021 and keep crafting! Happy WOYWW ((Lyn))#25
Happy New Year.
It must have take an age to get all that sorting done and what a lot of paints you have, so much choice.
Take car and stay safe,
Lilian B #12
I'm loving your craft room. That is certainly a lot of paint - which are your favourite of all the acrylic paints would you say? Sorry I'm late. Wishing you a happy belated WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#10)
Hi Neet! Isn't organizing fun when you have the time! Great use of lockdown! I remember last year when I reorganized my space, I found something I didn't realize I had and was just about to order another one! And craft paint - oh - I have a wall of paint, but truthfully, I hardly ever use it. My Lumiere's that I used to use a lot have dried up - so sad! Use it or lose it I guess! And a few of my Dylusions paints dried up, I see now they have changed their packaging. Good luck with your organizing, it all looks great, and I hope you find a few more surprises along the way (good ones!). Have a wonderful week, stay safe and stay warm! Lindart #35
Sorry I’m so late. That is a lot of paint Missus, don’t end up with so many trollies that you haven’t room to move them around in will you?!! I have a trolley too and love it, it’s so manoeuvrable. Top layer is scraps, middle is stickers and bottom is 6x6 pads, works really well for me.
Oh and by the way, it’s not a candlestick near my desk, it’s a section of a standard lamp. My Ma and Pa brought it back from Hong Kong in 1966 and it was in every home since, so when we cleared their house, keeping it was a high on my list! It’s brass ands also has two babies - lamps that we use upstairs. If we were in line for a punishment, cleaning them was one of those jobs....kit seemed to take an age and was hateful. But in reality, it takes about twenty minutes to do all three!!!
Wow... what an amazing array of paints!
Great tidying!
Sorry for the late visit!
Happy New Year and happy WOYWW!

Calling All Crafters! – My Blog!
Wow! So much paint!!!
Now I see what you meant. Liquitex were the other brights I'd bought most recently. But of course you have them all, lol. No excuse for not painting now :-)
Happy New Year - again!
