WOYWW 580

I am sure these Wednesdays come around far quicker than ever they used to.  It's time once more to join in with Julia and her merry band and show what is on our workdesks.  If you want to join in click here and find out all about it - then post and show us what is on your desk.

Well this week I think I am going to find a struggle with this blog posting as everyone seems to be having problems with the new format.  I think it is the placement of photographs that has got to folks out there and if that happens I might have one big meltdown because I like my photos to be centred.  Now if they are, all will be good.  So I cannot wait to post this and see what happens, hence I will keep it short and sweet.

Need to build up my stash of birthday cards so once again I have opted for a Laurel Burch type card.  The members of the club will all get the same card, maybe different colourways but in essence the same card.  That's what you can see on my desk - all I have been doing is colouring in with my Promarkers and fussy cutting inbetween trying to make a folio as instructed by my bff for the club class this month (virtual).

My Tracy Evans book is lying there waiting for the cover to be glued on and then I can put it to bed.  Otherwise there is just my journal open at last week's page but, despite all I said there is still tomorrow's page to be started.  Oh woe is me I have not a clue where to start with the quote for this week.  Better get my skates on - quick!

Health Update:

Leg still wrapped up like a turkey for Christmas, the lovely nurse I saw on Saturday explained that it is being kept wrapped so that it will heal quicker.  She had replaced the steri strips on the  previous appointment but on taking the bandage and dressings off it was still showing signs of bleeding two weeks down the line.  So it was back wrapped and an iodine dressing applied.  Fingers crossed for this afternoon when I go again.

As you are reading this I am probably in Preston having obtained a cancellation for the chiropractor.  it's the first appointment of the day in order to try to keep me as safe as possible from contact with others.  Boy oh boy do I need a bit of manipulation.  However, I'll play catch up later with the comments.

Well that is it for this week, see you around!  (not sure what's happened, it looks just the same as always)

That's great re the chiropractor, I hope she's able to help your pain. Glad you're in first too as I saw there is a higher rate in the North West, that funky mask of yours will come in handy. I need to get some more cards made too as I'm our WI's Birthday Card Monitor (!!) and I still have stash left that was donated to me at the last crop.
Hope you're ok, lovely gal,

Oh Neet hope the Chiro works wonders for you!! Sucks that your leg isn't healed yet. Is it an old person thing? I had a rash of leg lesions nearly 3 years ago (never really found out why) and I am still battling with the last square inch which will not heal properly. Rubbish circulation I guess (remembers belatedly to get up and walk about a bit). Mind you even a little spot or bite takes forever to clear up these days. You know I love those cat stamps - gorgeous colours!! Been trying to book on a course of Tracey's, I swear I've emailed three times as instructed - but nada. Is this normal? Fingers crossed you feel better soon, Happy WOYWW, stay well, stay safe, Hugs Cindy #10 xx

I'm always surprised by wounds - my Dad had both legs opened from groin to ankle to replace the veins and all by one tiny tiny part healed so fast. That tiny part bled for weeks, got infected twice, you could even see the bone eventually, and I had no idea how it would ever heal because it was so wide. Now you'd ever know it was such an issue! I hope the chiropractor helps! Have a fabulous week, Lisa-Jane #2

Hi Neet, I've given up with the new Blogger interface until they make it easier to use and I'm not the only one going on the comments in the forum. Hope your leg is better soon. My mum's was just healing well and so they put a plaster on it and have now realised it's that which is causing the problem as it would appear she is allergic to the sticky stuff. Have a lovely week and a very happy woyww, Angela x14x

As usual a busy desk Neet - you do an amazing amount of work, all things considered. I have had no hassles with the 'new' blogger... yet!
Do hope the leg heals soon - have they ever mentioned honey dressings - they are amazing!
I could nearly hear your back clicking from here - trust it is feeling better now
Stay safe
Blessings

I think for centring photos you'll probably be okay - it's if you want to get fancy and go side to side around text as I do over at W&P that things get tricky. And no, unless you clicked the button at the bottom left of your Blogger dashboard to deliberately switch over to New Blogger, you probably were still in the original "legacy" (as they insist on calling it) version. If you click to see New Blogger in action, you'll immediately notice what we're all struggling with! Don't worry... for now you can still revert to Legacy, but pretty soon they're going to take that option away.

Hope the chiropractor is doing/has done you good - sorry to hear about your strapped up leg. Did I miss something? Or have I just forgotten?! My lockdown brain is not as good as it was...

Love all the colourful cats - I'm sure the cards will be fabulous!

Sorry your leg isn't healing quickly. My ankle is still swollen and was told to sit with it raised but can't do that when sat at a desk! Hope your visit to the chiropactor was successful and manage to help your pain. Ani #6

Your blog layout looks OK to me, Neet. I know everyone seems to be having trouble with the new Blogger format, and I am just so glad I abandoned Blogger last year in favour of Wordpress... It was driving me nuts even then. I do hope your leg heals well, and quickly. I am glad they are keeping a close eye on it. Also, I hope your chiropractor appointment was beneficial. The lockdown has certainly added to your suffering, hasn't it, not being able to have regular treatments.

Take care of yourself, Neet!

Happy belated WOYWW,
