Another one where I have done the writing myself - this time I just went with it and did not try to copy anyones style - think it is a 'miss mash' to be honest of various styles but it was all I could manage.
I began with using up one of my Lindy's Stamp Gang (Starburst) spray inks, with the aid of a foam brush, as paint. I have never been wonderful with sprays so I have so many I am now using them to paint with. After a couple of coats I decided to leave it and concentrated on getting my lettering done. Then I began thinking of my figure and how I was going to portray this quote of Dyans. So...
The words are "let me adjust my crown and get my day started" and Princess Phoebe is feeling a bit like she has just woken up but already her Royal dogs are sniffing around her heels and little Pepe has even brought the lead ready for her to take them out. Fifi is looking most disinterested but has her nose firmly in the air, afterall, she is wearing her lovely new doggy coat in Royal Lilac and cannot wait to show it off to anyone who happens to be in the royal grounds.
Because I wanted to enter this into Art Journal Journey where the theme is 'sewing' or 'time' - or both, I did some stamping of some stitching around the sides and then a bit of cross stitch stamping 'higgeldy piggeldy' over the background. I try to enter this fun journal challenge each week - why not take a look and see if you can do something.
All main stamps are by Dylusions except the crown which came from the bee stamp of Pink Ink. The stitches are by SU.

This is a wonderful fun page and comment, the princess looks quite a gal.
It looks a super stitching stamp you used as a border. Thank you for linking to Halle's theme over at Art Journal Journey.
Stay safe .

Love the wonky crown, good idea. The dogs are a great addition, love it. Jarred my back yesterday and am in a back brace. I have every sympathy with you and your back.
Hugs Wendy xx
Wonderful! Love the colors and sassy little comment. Thanks for linking up for A Stitch in Time!
Ooh, I bet that's lovely with the sheen. It's not you who isn't good with sprays, it's the mica that blocks the tubes...I have loads, too and tend to pour them, being a bit of an idiot as I am, lol. It's always good to have that bit of a sparkle, but more naturally than glitter.
This one is brilliant. Your writing's fab and I love the way you managed to get the stitching in...duh! Why didn't I think of using stitched edges? I'm just not in the mood for trying to fit in with challenges - too many things to play with that just don't match ;-) I'm catching up from the times when I wasn't able to stamp as much, even though I still can't play for too long.
Love the tipsy crown - looks like my Timmy crown, which - strangely enough -is lying on my desk, stamped and cut out, ready to use! I decided not to use it for the thing I had in mind, so it's an optional extra for something else. Also love the outfit you chose. I can't imagine anyone walking their dog in heels like that but I'm not a heels fan. Those poor dogs won't be playing in the mud or the wet grass, will they? Mind you, they'd get their coats dirty, so maybe they wouldn't want to...
Another cracker, Neet. I really love this one.
Have a good week!

Hi Neet, this is such a fun piece! Love the wonky crown, we all need to put our crowns on straight in the morning. That's a great stitching stamp you used. The overall effect is really good. Love the clothes of the dogs and the lady. great ideas. Have a nice evening, hugs, Valerie
This is perfect for AJJ with that stitching. Thanks for joining Halle's challenge. But the stars of this piece are the dogs. They are sure ready for their walks, aren't they? Of course dogs are always ready for walks no matter what time of day. That's what makes this such a fun piece. And just so you know, I taught biology, but I can see how I didn't make that very clear. Have a fabulous end of your week, and hope your back gives you a break this weekend. Hugs-Erika
This is a wonderful page. This kind is as interesting from this topic as you did! The lady with the beautiful crown and the big glasses also the dogs as they are dressed, great!
I wish you a nice day, Elke
Fun creative page. Adorable dogs, love them!
Nice idea and great words :)
Happy weekend xx
Such a fabulous page! I love the quote and the lady with her crown - perfect 😁. The stitching stamps you used make a wonderful background too! I hope you have had a better week with our back, wishing you a happy Friday and Weekend! Take care! Hugs, Jo x
I had to laugh when I saw this. It is truly an adorable journal page and you certainly did justice to that quote. Like you, I also have trouble getting my sprays to work properly Even after I soak the sprayers and make sure they spray water in the sink, within about three spritzes, they are clogged again. That includes the three that don't have mica chips in them. I've also started "painting" my sprays on the substrates.
This is so clever. I never thought there might be a stamp that emulated stitches. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Halle's theme. I'm delighted you are supportive of our challenges each month.
Well, that just shows how behind I am - I hadn't even heard what this month's AJJ theme was until now! I've not been visiting much lately - too much going on, but once Monday's over, I should be back on form! I love your regal woman keeping the pack of dogs in line. I'm off to adjust my crown now, and get back to what I'm supposed to be doing...
