I did - and this is my desk as it will still stand tomorrow, Wednesday.
This is my little Stampotique Journal and these are the stamps that I haven't used up to now in it. I think I counted 22 pages left to decorate and I have six stamps to use. Who will be buying some more at the next sale? Unless a friend of mine comes up with some more that I haven't got that she has. The only thing stopping me at the moment is the backgrounds, not quite up to it yet as I like to have brayered ones in here.
This is how it stood a few minutes before which is the view I was originally going to show you. It's a bit staged as you can no doubt gather. I decided to take a leaf out of Helen's book and do a bit of shopping on line.
Sorry abut the flash glare on the large stencil which is one I saw on a You Tube video and just had to have. The Dylusion one was to balance out the payment and avoid postage charges when I bought the little dogs. (How many of you are as guilty as me of doing that?) The other purchase was an AALL & Create stamp by Tracy Evans which I have liked for a long time, along with the large stencil. Two separate purchases.
Well, that is it for this week. Hopefully I will have something to show you next week as my BFF is coming tomorrow with the cloth book she made at Tracy Easson's class and which Tracy sent to me so I could do it in my own time. Lucky for me that Lorraine bought all the stamps needed so she is bringing them along. That's the kind of friend we all need. Can't promise my book will be completed but Lorraine spent all day Sunday finishing hers so that she had a complete one to show me - and one to one teaching from her!

I always add more to my shopping to qualify for "free" postage... love the choice of stencils and I love that you have a separate stampotique journal. Helen #??
Morning, Neet, no 1, no less! Congratulations :) Ah, the lure of craft-shopping online... I'm endeavouring to remain off crafting sites, until I've got a clear idea of what supplies I NEED... There's 1000s of goodies I want!
Happy WOYWW :)

I am glad that you will still manage to have a chance to complete the project from the workshop you couldn't manage Neet. That is indeed a good friend. Adding something to the basket to avoid P+P? I have yet to meet a crafter who doesn't do that lol. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #9
Hi Neet I'm back! I will have to scroll back through posts to catch up with your news. How's that back? Yes I do that re postage 😄 Crafting friends are the best - hope you get the book completed. Anne x @12
That's a great idea to have separate journals. I might give that a thought as it would be easier to remember what stamps I've actually got if I did that. By the way well done at getting the top position, something I know I'll never manage! I'm with you too at balancing out the postage there is always a little something extra we can use. Have a great woyww and a happy creative week, Angela x13x
Ah yes, shopping online can be rather hard on the budget... I am going to have to sit on my hands for the next few months!!
Blessings
Maxine
I'm taking a quick break from cutting squares for my quilt and enjoying a coffee while I catch up on a few of my favourite blogs.
We all need friends like that....have fun.

I like the idea of a stamp journal and having more pages than stamps is the perfect excuse to buy more! Loving your new stash too! I go through spending phases and saving phases and currently I'm in a saving phase, so will ride it as long as it lasts before the next spending phase kicks in LOL! Have a lovely week! zsuzsa #16
I love your little journal. That is something I haven't tried yet but you ladies make me want to give it a try!

What fun stamps! They certainly caught my eye. How can they not make fun art!!! Happy Wednesday Neet. Hugs-Erika
Have a fun day :) Love your stamp and stencil purchases especially the larger one. Looking forward to seeing more pages from your Stampotique book in the future. xx
I love those stencils - have fun with your BFF, enjoy creating together! Happy woyww and a big hug from Holland, Marit #15
What a good idea to make an album of the stamps you haven't used, Neet. Makes you get them out and discover their potential! I hope your back is a little better this week. Thank you for your visits last week and I'm sorry it's taken me all week to reply - we have been so busy lately. I'm glad you like our new loo - lol at the tiara idea and as for the parrot, I have some wooden clip-on parrots that I thought I might put in there somewhere. Unfortunately they sent me the wrong design of chandelier so that's had to go back, but hopefully the correct one will come in a few days and I can start work on altering it. The kitties loved the hot weather, especially when they were allowed outside. From my post this week, you will see Ruby's own special way of enjoying the sunshine!
Happy WOYWW,

Oh fantastic, I bet you'll have such a great time with your mate doing the cloth book workshop! How lovely that you didn't have to miss out. Those new stash items are fab, the big stencil is really interesting, you'll have to share something you do with that.
I'm so pleased that you liked what I did with the fabric - the basket is for me but I've already made five pairs of glasses cases and little purses and they're off down to the shop tomorrow. Thank you again for donating all the wonderful stuff.

Oh good on Lorraine for finishing so that she could show you the completed deal. Bet you’ll love making it. Now, don’t swear at me, but you could gently and without anyone knowing, remove 16 pages from the Stampotique journal?!!!
Happy WOYWW #530 great desk love those goodies. xx Jan (21)
Funny how we can justify just a little more to purchase to not get charged shipping! Yep, guilty! Have a fab time with your BFF!

Oh, the little Stampotique album is fabulous... it must be so nice turning the pages and meeting all those quirky characters (like the Dylusions journal but smaller!). So, if you're after more stamps to fill the book, does that mean it's a different stamped figure on every single page? Very cool! Nice looking shopping haul too.

That's a great collection Neet, I always try and get the full set of things it's like gathering up a family. You will fill up your little journal in no time. You had a great shop there, I love Tracy's flowers along with the earlier Butterfly set it's one of my fav's.
Glad you will get chance to play in the cloth book Neet and share those awesome new designs from Tracy Easson. What a fabulous friend, you will have a marvellous day today Neet. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you create in your cloth book. I work in mine lots well actually I call mine rag books. My next couple of blogs I share some of my recent works.
I hope the weather is treating you kindly up there, I know there has been many floods above us in the midlands and I can't help but worry when I hear of these things.
Take good care of yourself Hugs Tracey xx
How did we manage before we could shop online!! Lots of lovely bits and bobs to play with there Neet. xx Jo
Hi Neet, yes, I always look for something to make the price up so I don't pay postage- within reason, of course. So hard to still be struggling with the back pain, really wish someone could give you some relief. Love all the Stampotique stamps, such great characters. Really late this week, spent most of yesterday afternoon in A&E, as the breathlessness wasn't easing off. They gave me IV Antibiotics & steroids, and some nebulisers, which has helped, but it's still not what it should be. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4X
Nice journal page and stuff on your desk. The stamps are really fun! I also buy more just to qualify for the free shipping. LOL Dorlene #22
Sorry you didn't make the Tracy class - it was a fun day - although pouring outside for most of the time! You have convinced me I do need the stamps I saw today on line!! Hugs, Chrisx
So what is wrong with buying something extra so you don't have to pay postage. I look on it as my freeby. Have a good week. Ani 5
That's a clever way to use a stamp collection! Happy belated WOYWW! #24
Thank you for your visit, and dear Neet, I wish I could come and give you a hug! I am so, so sorry that this back trouble is still ongoing and that you have to wait so long for an appointment and it's reducing you to tears. That's just too awful. I'm having to wait ages for appointments too, but at least I am not in pain. Pain drags one down so much. My hubby had great success with the chiropractor many years ago so it might be worth a try - no harm to see what he says, anyway. I really feel for you in your situation, and I admire you for keeping on crafting which must be an effort, but therapeutic as well, no doubt! I am so glad the kitties brought you a little joy this week! I wish you could have seen Ruby yesterday - she did a spectacular aerial somersault while my hubby was playing with her with the birdie toy, and we both gasped! I wish I'd been filming at the time! Lily just rolled around and showed us her tummy. I rather overdid it with the cooking and wore myself out, but at least we've got a nice lot of ready made meals and supplies of grains etc. now, which will keep us going for a bit. I agree with you - cashews are yummy, and so are spices! That black bean chilli was fiery...
