523 WOYWW

Well its the aftermath of all the excitement generated by The Crop and the atc swap.  Didn't we have a lovely time, whether we went to the crop or not - swapping atc's is such fun.

Nothing on my desk and a short post for a change.  This is my trolley instead of my desk

My legs are a bit swollen so I have been sitting in the lounge with them up and this is my work trolley for occasions like that.  The spotted thing on the side is a lovely waste bin that my friend Wendy made me - ideal for when I am cutting out bits of card.  Then there is my little pink bag, packed full with stuff sent by my lovely friend, Cindee, as shown last week.  I am not showing you the progress I have made on my Hedgehog as it is really a most peculiar shape - think I need to watch a few more videos as yet.  Plus I really think the brush does not work as a base for 3D felting on - might have to make myself a cushion and fill it with rice.

Then there is my drink and my cream crackers in the Yorkshire Tea tin and in front you can just about see the yellow top of my container for my tablets.

Well, that is it, all put to bed the night before (ie it is Tuesday here) as I don't want to be up early in the morning.  What have you on your workdesk - off to see you all on WOYWW some time tomorrow.

Just seen Julia is up and running so here I am a chance to be at the start.

Dear Neet, your pain must be unbearable at times. I am so sorry, but at least you have an alternative work space. Happy WOYWW from # 8. Congrats on taking the top spot this week.

Well done you for being first in line today haha.
I hope you’re feeling better as the day goes on Neet. A bit of feet up time never did anyone any harm anyway.

Morning Neet, what a great little tray to keep all the necessary on. I hope you have taken advantage of that lye in and rested those legs? I'm intrigued about the Hedgehog but as i've been away for the past couple of weeks I need to focus on today's posts them work my way back if ever I do catch up. That's always a downside of Holidays. I'm sure the BUZZ from the WoywW Crop will be a lasting memory for everyone. Hoping to catch a piccie of two along my way.

It looks like a very functional mobile work desk, Neet! Perhaps I should get one too - I like the idea of being able to put my feet up while crafting! Us Pisces have sensitive feet and legs! Hope the swelling goes down soon! Have a lovely week and hope to see that hedgehog one day! xx zsuzsa #20

Well, if you don't feel like being in your craft room then that is a great alternative! I like the spotty waste bin, great fabric. When we did needle felting in the WI, we did it on small blocks of firm foam which seemed to work ok. Hope you show us your hedgehog soon (and that your legs improve too xx)

Oh Neet - I hope the 'legs up' is helping the swelling. Your tray does look nice and tidy, but how wonderful to be able to craft with a tray/trolley like that!

So sorry you are having to sit with your feet up. My ankles have been swelling of late and I too rest with my feet up a lot. I don't have anything to roll my supplies to my chair so that is a very neet idea! Have a great rest of the week!

Well done for getting the number 1 spot. Love your crafting trolley - perfect for when you need to keep your feet up. Thanks for your prayers for Gran - she is going to be moving to a specialist physio place soon but in Minehead so about an hour from Mum and about 5 from me which is less than ideal, but hopefully it will work for her. Happy WOYWW. Love & God Bless, Caro x(#19)

Perfect timing then Neet, not being able to get the schedule clock thingy to work! Nice use of the trolley, hope a day off your feet and a lie in this morning have helped. When I did a bit of felting at Jan’s, we used polystyrene to actually lay the work on for stabbing. It fell apart quite quickly, but it’s apparently ideal!!

Hi Neet, sorry you're not so good. Hope sitting with your feet up helps and you're up and about again soon. At least you're sorted with your crafty trolley beside you. Looking forward to seeing your hedgehog some day soon. Hugs, Elizabeth x #26

Ah commiserations on the swollen tootsies, hope they settle quickly. Great work spot, and love the additional bags, cuppa and cream crackers, remember trying them and liked them when over there.
Happy belated WOYWW. Thanks for sharing, Shaz in Oz.x #22
PS legs healing slowly, can stand on them, and walk around etc but just can’t go for walks. Will be a while. Cortisone slows healing.
Next Wed having broken, root canal lower back molar exctraction, hopefully no major issues next Wed in mid arvo.

That trolly indeed comes handy when you are 'livingroom-bound', I hope the legs feel better by now. I remember the feeling of swollen legs/feet from the time I was pregnant (and years after, I must have had it for 10 summers after giving birth, before it finally got back to 'normal behavior') Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. Happy - belated - woyww, hug from Holland. Marit #21

So sorry to hear about your legs, I hope they feel better soon. But great compensation with the Trolley! I'm sure you will figure out that hedgehog, and then you can share it! Our sunshine has gone away again, and we now have rain for the next two days or so. Thanks for your earlier visit, have a great week! Lindart #30
