WOYWW 512

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday is what is going on here today.  I am baring my desk for all to see - dare you to bare yours.  Where, you ask?  Why, here, at the desk of our founder Ms Julia is where you can start.

As for me, again a fairly bare desk but there has been activity, just not at the moment.  Not to fear I do intend to show you one or two bits of what I have been up to, just not necessarily at this desk.  Although if you look closely you can see a spot of paint left on my glass mat and an old credit type card (known as a 'splodger') plus some bits and bobs of things to make marks on pages for backgrounds.

The two little figures waiting to be cut out are from my friend, Lorraine, who sent me quite a few to keep me going last week.

These are some pages from my small Moleskine done earlier.  Now you either like or you don't like the figures that are made by Stampotique.  They are expensive, wood mounted stamps and appeal to some but not all.  I must say I do like them but then I like things a bit 'out of the ordinary'.  Here's a small selection:

Weird or what?

Thanks for all the lovely comments re my health last week.  Had my oscopies done - the colonoscopy was so painful I never want one again.  Well, maybe I'd have a 3D one (even though it is done privately and therefore is quite costly).  Still waiting for the results which could be 3-5 weeks yet.  Same with the CT scan and now am waiting fingers crossed, to see if the consultant will agree to my having a spinal x-ray.

Right, that is it for another week - maybe more pages next Wednesday from my Moleskine or perhaps something new.  I am off now to see what everyone is showing on their desks.

Sorry about your colonoscopy, I cant remember if mine was painful, I just remember my throat being sore but I had it from both ends

Oh Neet that bot's out the way now Thankfully.. Don't think of it & let creativity take you away from it all.. The stamps are weird but wonderful, sometimes those images stop me in my creative track as my brain over thinks what to use them for but other times i'm full of things to do with them.. Everyone's as fun as the next Neet. I like your splodge & splat card hee hee!

Awh Neet Im sorry you’re having to have all these procedures done, it’s not nice I know I’ve been in the same boat myself this past few months. Bone density scan for me next week.
Away from that though I do think your figures are fabulous, you are clever

A Sploder eh?! There's uses for everything in this world, lol! I think the Stampotique images are really fun, very off the wall and all the better for it! Hope you feeling a little better after all the procedures, let's hope the test results don't take too long to come in.

So glad your procedures are all done...they are never very pleasant. Lets hope the results are good.
Not sure what I think of the stamps...they are certainly different lol

I do like 'weird images' very much, but the Stampotique ones are always 'immediately recognizable' so I don't order/use them myself. You make them special with the texts, which made me giggle. Awesome! Happy woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #18

Hi Neet, glad the oscopies are done, how odd, my Colonoscopy was totally painless, didn't even realise they'd done! Love the Stampotique stamps, but then I too love anything a bit weird, lol.Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #2 X

Results..what a nonsense the wait is. I had to have an MRI and the pictures were emailed to my consultant whilst I was walking from MRI to his waiting room. It seriously makes me frustrate that the pictures are immediate but the person looking at them needs weeks. Grumble grumble, sorry, just cross thayou have to keep enduring while you wait. No fair. I blow hot and cold about the stampotiques, I have a couple but rarely use them. Am sort of secretly pleased that’s they stick to real rubber nad wood mounts!!

The stamps are really quirky and fun, and I love what you've done with them. The backgrounds are fabulous, such great colours and textures and they really showcase the stamps perfectly.
I'm sorry to hear your test was so horrid, I hope you get good news and soon - waiting for the results is often more stressful than waiting for the procedure.
Have a good week,

What fabulous pages, Neet - the colour schemes and the backgrounds are superb! Really great, and quirky too! Thank you for your visit, and I'm really sorry that you can't see my photos - perhaps try again later? You're not the only one - everyone's complaining about it. I couldn't see Julia's on my iPad this a.m. but can on my laptop - go figure? It's blessed google messing about again, I think. I'm soooo fed up with them. Anyway, thanks for the visit!

Oh dear, sorry you still can't see the photos, Neet. Nobody but me seems able to see them. Could you see the photos on any of my other posts or was it just this one?

Hi Neet, glad you've got your oscopies out of the way. I have to go for a colonoscopy on Monday - provided they have stopped faffing around between Wythenshawe and Blackburn hospitals! Did you having a pacemaker cause any issues? They are concerned about my ICD! I like the Stampotique images, I don't think I would ever use them on cards though. We will probably stay overnight if I go to the Crop. Thanks for stopping by earlier, and have a lovely week, hugs Heather xx #11

So sorry, Meet, that you are going through so many oscopies especially the painful colonoscopy. I've had a few oscopies in my time and I shudder at the memories still. Hope you hear the results sooner rather than later. I like your weird stamps - creepy but quirky. Your backgrounds are fab too. Have a good week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #28

I LOVE Stampotique! I don't have any, but a friend does, so I do get to use them once in awhile! Your cards are so fun! As for Inky telling off Mittsy in cat language - yes! Especially when she's sleeping and Mittsy jumps on her back "#$%%^$%$%^^%&&"!!!Thanks for your visit, sorry I'm so late! Lindart #27

Hi Neet, sorry you still can't see my photos. The whole thing is a nightmare and I don't know what to do about it - I've posted a query on a forum and hope to get a reply. I'm convinced it's google's fault. The funny thing is that I can see the photos when I visit my blog online but it seems nobody else can!!

I've just spotted that you've had a colonoscopy - I'm sorry to hear it was so painful - the 2 I had were not at all, and they gave me a sedative. I hope the results of all your tests will be satisfactory and/or will give you some answers. I'm a bit out of touch and didn't know you were so poorly - I'll hop over to your previous post for more details. Take care of yourself my dear.

Hugs,
Shoshi x
