Once again it is Wednesday and time for our weekly visit to Julia's WOYWW posting which leads us on to lots of other blogs from like minded folks who show us what they are up to craftwise. Why not join in and become a WOYWW'er! It's a great vehicle for making friends.
For the past few weeks there has been very little activity to show you on my desk but yesterday morning a parcel arrived from America, something I have been waiting for for a while.
A few years ago I did a class over there making flowers using the Heartfelt Creations dies and I had some sample sheets to go with the written instructions for the four dies I was using that my friend sold. Last year when I was over I meant to ask if I could have the samples for a workshop I intended doing at our club, saving me repeating them.
Anyway, to cut a long story short after my friend passed her cleaner said she would get them and send them to me. Well, it has taken a long time, lots of reminders but at last they are here. So I have kind of set my desk up to show them to you - makes a change from there being nothing on it.
Now I just need to refresh my memory on how I did all of these, make up some cards for samples and book a workshop.

I'm so glad that you got them eventually - they're really pretty, oneor two remind me of the Tudor rose (shape rather than colour). I know you'll find something amazing to use them for!

They were certainly worth the wait - what beautiful flowers, and I love the greatly differing effects you've achieved. I looks like it's going to be a fun and fabulous workshop you'll be taking.

They were worth the wait ! Your samples are beautiful!
Oh, remembering how to do stuff like that is hard! No doubt once you start, it’ll all come back to you and you’ll be overwhelmed with ideas for samples. Bet you have fun. V kind of Mary’s cleaner to rummage for you, can’t be an easy thing to do.
Hi Neet, I'm so pleased your parcel arrived - your sample boards are gorgeous! I'm sure your workshop will be a great success - it would be great to learn skills like that - let me know if you have a spare place 😁. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier, I'm going to make Mother's Day cards next month, and then a few Easter cards. We support a different charity each month at work, so always something going on. I had a lovely day with my daughter, I don't see quite as much of her as I would like, but we manage, despite working full time and living in different counties. Have a lovely week Heather x #17
Great samples Neet but trying to remember how we made stuff in the past..... how many times I have problems with that. I do try to write stuff down but then can't always find the page of instructions Lol! Oh well! Have a lovely woyww, Angela x13x
Those a pretty flowers and I do know what you mean about remembering how to make them. But at least you finally got the samples. Hopefully they will jog your memory Neet. Hugs-Erika
Glad you have your samples back, they are really beautiful! It may take a while and a bit of practice to remember how you did create these... I know, as I have the same 'problem' when I try to repeat something that I did years ago.. good luck. Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday, have a great day. Love from Holland, Marit #16
