Here we are again but this week the snow has gone. Actually there are a couple of little spots on our front lawn where the snow still lingers. And a drinks carton that someone has obviously thrown over the hedge - why do people do this? It was fun looking out last week and seeing the various footprints left by the little birds as they hopped along looking for food. Yesterday I saw a blackbird, which I believe is a ground feeder, sat in the Magnolia bush trying to get at the fat balls we have hanging in a cage there. Shows how much we need to consider our little feathered friends.
Well, my desk just shows the aftermath of the construction of my pain diary (2 black and red sheets) which is for the physio. I needed some small letters to fit in the space I had left so I used the inner letters from a set I think is called 'cargo'. It is a very old Spellbinders Alphabet set which cuts out a circle with the inner dropping out so you get two sets of letters for each cut you make. Handy really but most of the time i don't have all the letters I want ready cut out - or they are the wrong colour, still, occasionally they fit the bill.
I might tidy the mess up later today, after I have joined my friends at WOYWW.

I love that you have a corner table to work at with 2 sides. I have just a small table which gets loaded with things and I have just a small space to work in. This is nice. And it looks bright too. Hope your week is going well. Hugs-Erika
The small amount of snow we had Thursday night had gone by Friday.... not complaining (other than for Kew pics, I don't want snow!) Desk doesn't look untidy to me... different standards I suppose, here it's awful!) Helen #?
Your 'messy' is neat in comparison with the usual state of my area - unfortunately all my reorganising plans have gone out the door as family are currently storing furniture in the space I was going to use....
Blessings

Our extension is still a roof with two open sides and we’ve been feeding the ground feeders under this cover, it’s been a joy! We had about 6” of snow and I’m happy to say that it’s gone. I’m not very intrepid when it all gets squashed and becomes ice! I hate to think of you needing a pain diary, but it made me smile to think that the Physio will never get one that’s been so well made!
Morning Neet. The snow has gone from the local mountains as well - but there is still plenty on the heights! A pain diary doesn't sound nice!!! I hope things start to improve for you soon.
Take care. God bless.

Hi Neet, lol, my second desk pic today makes your's look positively tidy!We only had a two snowflake layer here, and thats long gone. Yes, blackbirds are usually ground feeders, but we find a lot of unexpected birds using our feeders- Jays, wood pigeons and collared doves, and the Jackdaws have really made it an art form. That die set sounds useful, always good to get double what you need, and yes, my spare die cuts are never the right letters or colours either. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 X
I think black and red are very suitable colours for a pain diary...that's what I would have chosen as well. Isn't it interesting though that the very same colours can represent love, lust, death...I suppose there's been some learned tome written about colours and emotions. We had no snow to speak of here, though it was blooming cold. I haven't been out of the house for a week though, going to venture out for a little stroll this afternoon.

Your desk looks tidy to me, I can make much more mess than that Lol! The sun is out here today and the weather is lovely for a change. Have a good week and a happy woyww, Angela x12x
We have people throwing rubbish out their car all along the lane as well. Makes me so sad that these sort of people exist. Normally, I would say: have fun with "insert current project" but somehow it sounds wrong with "pain diary" so I'll just say hope your pain goes away soon! Have a lovely week! zsuzsa #17
I love your work space, looks pretty tidy too!
So pleased we don’t have snow, can’t cope with it after living here for so long.
Take care

I'm late joining in the fun today cos I've been really busy with a steady flow of customers plus been finishing off my 7 bears....it's all go here.
Still no snow to speak of here yet thankfully but our birds are still enjoying all that's in our feeders....I love my birds.
Hugs,

Desk looks very tidy to me - have I missed something Neet are you not well? Hope you are getting the help you need. I sympathise with the alphabet dilemma - I have several dies that cut a few at a time - I keep those I don't need but when I do remember to look at them they are never the right ones etc. It's a bit like my whita card scrap box, which is huge, but every piece seems to be irritatingly a few mm too small for anything I want to use it for!! Happy Wednesday, Cindy #20
What a good idea to make your pain diary part of your creativity - then it won't feel like such an ugly part of life, maybe. I don't get litterbugs - lazy, mannerless, inconsiderate. They must be quite sad people.

The snow has all gone here too Neet. I think your desk looks relatively neat lol. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
All our snow has gone too. We put old apples (soft but not rotten) out for our blackbirds, on the ground. They seem to enjoy these. And the "messy" desk is a creative desk :) xx
You do have a lovely desk area. Thanks for sharing. Take care and have a nice week. With love and God bless, Caro x (#30)
