WOYWW 432

Last Saturday I went to Vicky Stampers and had a very different workshop using an old product - Alcohol Inks.  Lovely to revive them and do a different technique.  Jacqui was our tutor for the day and she made some fabulous coasters using tiles and Alcohol Inks.  I need to get around to doing some more so that I can improve and hopefully get them to look a bit more like Jacqui's.

She also had us make a couple of cards and you can see there is a blue one here.  I must have put the other one underneath when I packed up.

Haven't had time to do anything crafting wise since weekend as on Saturday I had my new floor laid. I love it but the adhesive that was used was so strong and took until today to get the smell to disappear. That meant I could only stay in for a short time at once to put some of the things back.  So now I am almost back to normal apart from one or two bits, as you can see, that are piled up on the worktop (to the left of the picture).  I give you - my flooring!

Love it!

So that is it for this week - short and ... well, short - just as Julia likes it.  Follow this link and find out all about WOYWW and (shriek, shriek!!) only two weeks to go to THE CROP!!!

Happy WOYWW. Alcohol inks - I purchased mine back in 2004 I think, and hardly used them! I keep meaning to get on YouTube and Pinterest and look for new ways of using them. One day! Your floor looks amazing. Ali x #7

Hi Neet, love the flooring. I love my laminate, it is ideal for a craft room, so much easier to clean. My old room had carpet, and that was a nightmare. I totally understand the glue avoidance- there are many glues I really can't be around, without getting an almighty headache. Love Alcohol Inks, such vibrant rich colours aren't they? Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 XxX

That floor is a triumph! It looks great, as does your room - is this it now, I hope you don't have to move all your stash again! I don't really know what alcohol inks are but the colours and lovely and vibrant.
Only 2.5 weeks until the Crop. Woohoo :-D

Yay, finally done and dusted and able to get back crafting. Love the finished room (even with some bits still piled up) it looks so fresh and organised. I think something must be in the air regarding alcohol inks as you are the 2nd person to have been working with them. See you again at the crop. Sarah #26

Hi Neet! Nice flooring! That would work so much better in my Craft room than carpet! Maybe I will drop a little hint to Mr M. Alcohol inks - that is another new thing to me, I'll add it to my future list. Have a lovely week, Heather #30
