Annies Smiles 224

One little thing that is a big thing is that my lovely friend in America sent me this tiny die which I have wanted for over a year.

It's only tiny but I have waited for it to be back in stock and was beginning to give up hope when I saw it.  Straight away I emailed Mary and she said "already ordered", bless her, she had also seen it back in stock and was right on my case.  I am so lucky to have her as a friend and I miss her so much.
Want to see what I have done with it?

I did some brayering in yellows, greens and blues and then did a bit of black stencil work and some stamping on some cards.  Placed a multi-coloured card behind each cut out, made a border on another card and mounted on a final one.

We have had some terribly high winds up here resulting in lots of leaves in our garden, the chimnerea blown over, cannot begin to tell you how many times the covers blew off the garden furniture; seems even the pigeons had problems.

These three obviously found their home a bit moveable.  Trees blowing like crazy in the wind - we did have a smile at their sitting on the fence.

Pop along to see Annie and her loyal followers for some more smiles and take a Raspberry Bun with you, fresh from the oven.  Ronaldo (apprentice on bathroom job) loved them and even asked for the recipe for his mum.

Thanks for the bun Neet....I've had it as my treat of the week 🙂 You have made me smile today but not why you think. My latest little family member is Theo not Leo even thought he can roar like a little lion at times 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂. Thanks for linking up.

Oh gosh what a wind! We often get strong winds here as I live on a precipice of a valley. But the wind is warm/hot. This morning we popped into town on the scooter and I wore just a T-shirt (and I am a very cold mortal). Warm wind blowing around me. Lovely!
Your buns look delicious. Are they like muffins? Or more like scones? I'll have one thank you very much.
Have a good week and
Keep smiling,
Lisca

Oh my, I'm drinking coffee right now and would love a muffin, thank you!

The cards you made with the die are wonderful! I love the color combinations you used. I can see why you were hot to get your hands on the die!!

Poor birds, being a bit homeless because of the wind. Three perched up in a row on the fence is Very cute!!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,
Kay

The new die looks great, small it maybe but looks very useful. It's been windy here too, I heard a crash and it was the garden umbrella which we had left out after the nice weather, thank goodness it didn't hit the conservatory. As you can imagine the umbrella has been put away! Have a great weekend, Angela xXx

Oh what wild weather you have had - thankfully we have not had winds like that, but rain aplenty here!
Love those cards - no wonder you waited for that die!!
Blessings

That is a real cute die and it has made a super set of cards. It is not one I have seen used before on any blogs.
I laughed at the row of pigeons, though wind like that is not very funny really!
The buns look Yummy - Yes please. Kate x
