Annie's Smiles

Last Sunday I was given something which certainly put a smile on my dejected face.

Going back in time I should have been on a Seth Apter Workshop the other Sunday with a friend of mine.  I had done a quick workshop with him in America when I was at CHA in January and fell in love with the man, his techniques and his teaching.  So when I saw there was one in Harrogate with the man himself I jumped at the chance and talked my friend Lorraine into going along with me.

It wasn't to be, I was in hospital and so had to let my place go.  We had to cancel our 10 day holiday in Spain and I was disappointed but when I thought of the workshop I had cancelled the tears came  - that shows how much I wanted to go.  Crying over a one day workshop but not over a ten day holiday in the sun.

Well, Lorraine went along and she told him how disappointed I was and so he tore a corner from his demonstration piece and wrote a lovely message on the back.  I feel so lucky and cannot wait for his return next year.  (Incidentally, went to book his workshop in America for January and it is all booked up!!!)  I smile when I think of Lorraine and what she did for me, what a lovely friend she is.

Isn't that lovely

Well, by the time some of you are reading this I will be on my way to the hospital for tests and not feeling a very happy bunny at all.  Roll on tonight when it is all over.  Am having two "oscopies" one down and one up so that is not something to smile about, sorry Annie.

Will leave it there and concentrate on Seth Apter and his lovely gesture to get me through the afternoon.  Pop along to dear sweet Annie and see what she has - lots of smiles I will be bound.

Oh Neet - hope things have gone smoothly for you - those 'scopes are not fun :-(!!
What a wonderful friend you have and a fabulous note from the master of craft, Seth.
I think I would be upset over missing the class too!!
Blessings
Maxine

hope the 'oscopies' aren't too awful and at least give some answers... that is so typical of Seth; we all loved him too! Hope you get to take a workshop with him soon.

There really are some lovely people in this world we live in Neet. What a kind thing to do for you. I really do hope today goes well and it's over quickly with much less discomfort than you imagine.
Big hugs,
Annie x

Oh, Neet, I'm just catching up and reading of all your probs. I am so so sorry I have been out of touch but everything has been too much of late and I have hardly been on line. I really hope your tests go well and you are back in the flow soon. Lots and lots of love Jo x

Oh, what a wonderful gesture from the great man himself and what a lovely friend too to think of you at the workshop. Here's hoping that your oscopies uncover what is ailing you. Take care and enjoy the weekend. Elizabeth xx

Hi Neet, well by now I imagine your tests are over and you'll have some answers and a quick recovery. Your friend is truly special and great of Seth to send you a little message, his workshops must be inspiring. Get well soon, hugs Robyn

I'm so sorry you missed out on all the fun. By the time you read this hopefully you will have had both 'scopes'. They are not nice to have whichever bit of your anatomy they are poking in! I pray that the results are good and give the doctors a good idea of what to do to make you better.
You have things to look forward to: America in January and perhaps another trip to Spain.
Stay positive. Every cloud has a silver lining.
Sorry for the late comment. I've been busy yesterday preparing for Tracey's birthday party. (we had a belated birthday party for her last night which was a great success).
Thanks for your kind comments,
Have a great weekend,
Lisca
