WOYWW 360

A full circle!!!  Julia has achieved a full circle today.  Well, if it was degrees we were talking about.

First of all I must say that last week one or two people did not have numbers when they commented on my blog.  Found them all bar one and that made me sad.  I do like to return a comment, so Jen, if you put a number this week I will find you, promise.

Also had a problem with commenting on Gabriele's post (Art-A-Tag).  I did try, honestly, but could not tell where to click onto for comments.  Am sure everyone else knew what to do but I tried lots of things to no avail.  If someone could tell me I will rectify the situation.

Last week several of you were sorry that I had had to throw so many of my paints away.  Hope I did not mislead you too much and yes, it is sad that they had dried up but I can assure you I have lots of paints, too many in fact.  What annoys me is that those paints dried up in a relatively short time compared with some paints I have that have been with me since I first began crafting.  I have some Folk Art paints that I got cheap (probably about £1) years ago because they were old stock then and they are perfectly ok today.

Well, nothing to show you today as I have been gallivanting again - in Wales this time - and my day with Paul netted lots of die cuts with his Seth Apter dies for me to colour up and use.  And Yes, I still have my dirty old mat:

Now for a quick tour of Anglesey starting with Treaddur Bay

South Stack

Holyhead

Cemaes Bay (me)

From our window (Bull Bay)

Persistent Gull at Red Wharf Bay

Red Wharf Bay

Shops at Beaumaris
and the chilli shop which was closed boo hoo

Finally a view across to the main land

Sorry for all the photos Julia - did not take any in Llandudno where we literally bumped into Margaret and John.  Then got hit by hailstones!

If you would like to see some craftiness call back another day but in the meantime look at what Julia and her followers have to offer by clicking here.

I've just read about you bumping into Margaret. We were in Wales last week in the beautiful town of Montgomery.
We used to stay in The Empire Hotel in Llandudno years ago. The bedrooms are gorgeous, brass bedsteads, roll top baths and chandeliers. Nice food too

Fantastic pictures of Anglesey Neet. I now want to go and book a mini break there myself lol. Been a few years since we last visited and it's not like its a million miles away. Glad you're enjoying it despite the hailstones. P xx

Morning Neet, thanks for sharing lovely pics of Anglesey there, and the lovely weather you had.
You also got some super dies, hope you have fun with them.
I agree, it is very frustrating that some products, paint or paste or similar, dry up and become unusable very quickly and others are usable for years and years.

Hi Neet, before I forget I have found some blog comment boxes don't open straight away but if you click on your refresh button they do, it might help. It looks like you've been having a lovely time, it's somewhere I've never been. Have a great woyww and happy crafting if you have the time Lol!, Angela x 21

Oh my, hope the hail stones did not cause any damage. I also went to Llandadno, only the one near Cape Town in South Africa, no chance of bumping into any deskers there.
Sounds like you had a wonderful time.
Happy WOYWW!

You really get around! Love that you literally bumped into John and Margaret, you couldn't make up those sort of accidental greetings, love em. I couldn't find Gabrielle's comments section either. Probably just us!
Your mat isn't dirty by my standards I must say..mine is STILL crusty with paste. Oh well!

I had been playing with some old paint on sunday afternoon it was a tubed dimensional paint and it rolled off the table and the bottom split I was so shocked ( it landed on carpet) but, because, this stuff is thick and almost a solid ( I use it with stencils) it didnt hurt the carpet at all but, I pouted tossing it in the bin. ( note to self I need to see if they even still make this anymore it was green colored and its just one of the most useful colors for me.) I love all the color you see on your walk on the street too that looks like such a pretty place to visit. ~Stacy #55

Yea for the same old dirty mat. It's good to have old friends like that around. Sad about the paints, but it happens and as you noted you have many others. It is interesting how some things last and last and others not so much. Thanks for sharing all the lovely pictures of your outing. Sad the chilli shop wasn't open. PJ & Dio #57

I know that frustration when you invest in products which don't live up to expectations! Looks like a fab break in Anglesey. I've never been.Had a hectic day wet-felting loads of new background pieces so just dropping in for a quick snoop! Happy crafting, Max #37 :-)

Wonderful photos - looks like a beautiful place to visit. And I can't wait to see what you do with all those die-cuts... will confess that some Seth Apter dies have been one of my indulgences here in NYC - can't wait to get them home to play with.

What lovely photos, Neet, and I'm so glad you had a nice time. I was amazed by the photos in your subsequent post too - all that snow! Being so mild here in the English Riviera we haven't had a single flake all winter but it has got rather cold lately! (Just when I started washing all my winter woollies to put away - same every year!) Thank you for your visit and your kind words - I do factor in some rest each day and am doing fine - I feel better now than I have felt for years. Re the narrow boat painting, if you look at my first blog post with the photos you'll see the book I've got - if it's still in print it's an excellent guide to the technique. If it's not, there are sure to be others. It's a relatively simple technique and you are sure to be able to master it. I've got to put Sheba through her paces and get some stuff cut soon! So many lovely things to think about and to do!

Happy belated WOYWW,

I loved everyone of your pictures and certainly hope you will do it again and again. I would dearly love to go back to the UK - it is doubtful but you never can tell.
