WOYWW 350

What is on my desk?  Good question.  Just one lonely card made for my friend Naomi's birthday.

I just have not got back into the mood for doing any crafting at all.  In fact I have to make another card PDQ but find sitting with my leg down makes it ache at the moment and it rather takes the mood off for creating.  I will get the other one done as it is already late and was for a special birthday, and a special young lady.

And now below (because I made a pickle of the original post - thanks Annie for alerting me to it - here is a news cutting especially for Shaz (Silverwolf).

Whilst I was away in America I received a note to say that I had won Nikki's Pink collection.  Unsure where to send it she decided it would probably be best to send it to the UK and it was waiting for me on my arrival home.  Sorry I did not upload last week but here it is now:

Imagine the delight on my face when I opened this package and found all of this inside for me.  The little envelope on the left is full of all manner of dewdrops, beads etc.  A veritable Valentine Treat. Thank you so much Nikki.

Rightio, so now you have seen what is on my desk for this week, why not go to see what Julia has in store and follow some of the links for interest and ideas.

I had to highlight the bit about Shaz and her lights cos I think you've typed it white on a white background :-)....but I managed it.
Lucky you winning that fab new stash.
Here's hoping you have a good week.

I'm not worried about the lack of crafting mojo, you can't force it...or rather, if you do, then things never seem to go well. The urge will strike again one day, lol!
Wow, that's a lovely parcel from Nikki....I bet that made you smile :-)

Lucky you to win that pink stash!
Although it was meant for Shaz, I read the article with interest. I learnt something there. Beautiful coloured sky.
I'm sure your mojo will come back. We all have days like that. (especially in winter I must say)
Thanks for visiting,
Happy WOYWW and have a good week,
Lisca

Nice win! I'm sure you will have fun with lovely pile! The card is cute - when I was in at school none of my people had faces, just like this card - I think they were just too difficult to draw! Lindart #56

Beautiful package from Nikki! She's so generous - love those postage stamps too! I can understand if you don't want to sit at your desk when it makes you feel uncomfortable. Hope your leg gets better soon. Lovely card for your friend, very feminine! Wishing you a great rest of the week! Thanks for stopping by earlier! zsuzsa #40

Hi Neet, that article is great, thank you. It was amazing to see, ours were not that widespread, just three small patches, but an incredible sight, no the less. We were just really lucky the skies were relatively cloudless for a couple of days. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #6 xxx

Hi Neet, love the card. I think you should just rest up and forget about your desk for a while. If you try and force yourself to do something when you're not in the mood Mr Mojo will hide away for even longer. Hope the leg is getting better as that can't help. Take care, thanks for the visit to mine and happy woyww, Angela x 26

I would have liked to have seen those 'mother of pearl' clouds, Neet, but it was too cloudy and, thanks to the storm, too horrible to venture outside. Hope you get your mojo back - maybe that fabulous package of goodies will provide a spark. We have another change of weather again today - it's chilly but sunny ... only in Scotland!!! I'll be starting the next giant granny square this evening - this one will be for my lovely niece. Have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #41

Lovely stash you have won, Neet! It's always a joy to open a parcel of goodies, isn't it. That sky is amazing. I've never seen anything like that. I know what it's like in the absence of your creative mojo - it's horrible! I do hope your leg gets better soon.

Thank you for your lovely comment - yes, my hubby's a real star. Thanks for your suggestions re names - he's definitely a boy panda. Whenever we get new bears or anything, I can always tel istantly whether they are boys or girls lol!! The name Val did spring to my mind but the little panda just looked at me as if to say "That's not my name!" He remains nameless for now! I am sure something will come eventually. This evening he had some liposuction and is a lot less firm and hard now, and more cuddly! So glad you like my cards. I'm taking them in to the chemo unit tomorrow, along with the cakes I made.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Thank you for your lovely comment on my latest post, Neet, and I adore "kitten mitten" - must tell my hubby that one in the morning! Beatrice has hardly stirred from it since she got it - just for food, and the odd trip into the garden lol! She adores it. I had a great time at the chemo unit this a.m. and the buns were gratefully received, and I had some lovely conversations with several people. It's such a joy to go in and try to bring a little sunshine into people's lives when they are going through such unpleasantness. My poor little panda - two operations in as many days lol! He's now a lot better and more cuddly after his liposuction!
