WOYWW 275 Short (I hope)

Last week was a long post because I kept going on about Brusho's, Monday was a long one because I revealed all about myself with the Creative Blog Hop so today I am keeping it short.

I missed including this card yesterday (can you believe it?)

which is a fabric padded card using a resist technique and S Gill paints.  I found it on my desk when I was about to begin spraying with water and Brushos.  I am making a set of tags so that I can see what all the colours are in the Brusho range - I can never remember which red is which so with the tags I will know.

You can see I have put my spray booth up (no need for it really but I might do a bit of colour spraying too), there is a folder from Amazon which I am turning into something (what?), tags at the ready, gloves to keep the colour off my hands (off to a Golden Wedding Friday - oops!  need to make a card), a bit of lace and the fish card plus birthday card at the back to move and paperwork to sort out.

OK, now go to Julia's and see what she has to say.

Not sure I should include this but :

Just a quickie - and I hope Julia is ok with this - I sent for some Juvesiio Anti-Aging Serum for £1.99 and for some Flawless Elite for £2.95 (both trial sizes).  These did not arrive and I wrote to the company - ok so it was only £4.90 but I do not like being duped.

When our bank statement came the company had taken out  £70 for one item and  £87 for the other.  I had not agreed to this, had already told them I was waiting for the samples so I wrote again and they refunded the £70 and £87 but still not the £4.90.  They have just not communicated regarding that since I wrote again.

Don't get  taken in like I was, make sure you keep all documentation for what you purchase (luckily I had) , avoid this company like the plague and check your bank balance always.  I doubt I will get my £4.90 now but does anyone know who I should go to with this as I feel it is pure theft!  Or should I just leave it alone?

Mm am with you on such things Neet they are thieves and if they take £4.90 from every person who buys they are making a motzer and don't deserve it!! is there a department of Fair trade in Uk you can take them to?? as that is what we do in Oz.
Well done on the organising of your colours need to do that on some things too, Happy WOYWW Shaz in Oz.x No number yet.

Love the blue card behind your brushos! You and Sam have really made me think these are my next must have product!!
Your spray booth is a good idea - I feel I should make one too as I can get in a dreadful mess...
Hope you get your refund, you are due it after all! Helen, no number yet.

Your fabric padded card is gorgeous! Your desk looks busy and fun! It's a good job you checked your bank account, sounds pretty dodgy business practice at that company to me! Enjoy the Golden Wedding. xxx

Love the look of the latest creating Neet.
Sorry to hear you're not happy with a crafty company and I'm sure others will want to know too so well worth a mention. I really hope they resolve your problem.
Hugs,

Oh, Neet - what an ugly mess with that company. Don't you just hate it when you have to get stiff and starchy with folk? Trust it all gets sorted soon - at least they have refunded the large amounts!
That fabric card is so lovely - so gentle. Well done.
Thanks for visiting and for your lovely comments. We went to Gaerwen, actually to Holland Arms Garden Centre - they have cake like nowhere else! So a really healthy lunch (cough, cough) of hot sausage roll and dessert plus a panad!! Then a trip round the centre, and a visit into their craft space. Do-craft demo going on, and had lots of fun with Gaynor - apparently the only one of their demonstrators prepared to travel so far into the wilds of Wales! Back on to the mainland, and lots of photo oppolrtunities for the scavenger hunt. Needed a parade - wrong time of year here in the Llandudno area, so settled for street names with parade in them - lateral thinking?? Have to go back and take some more though, as we took them on the move from the car window - a bit blurred!
A great day out for John.
Take care. God bless.

Hi Neet

What a nasty bother, I would be taking this matter up with your bank as this is fraud. They had no right to withdraw funds without your permission. The bank needs to be told to prevent any further deductions from not only your account but other bankers, it could help them too

I so love that card with the flowers and the fancy edge on your ledge. Very, very nice.

Hope all improves

Hugs Eliza, Yoda & Susan
Happy WOYWW

Hi Neet, just had to come back to let you know I have been checking up on Susan, she looks to be having a great time though some of her adventures look a bit dangerous she never stops smiling.
I hope she continues to have a good time, she is very welcome to visit Lincoln when she finally gets back to the UK. Happy crafting, Angela x

Thanks for the heads up re the scam which is surely what it is. Will check with hubby as he is good at this sort of thing and usually know who to contact. Was it an online purchase?

Neet said...

Yes, Jo, it was online. I have been on to the credit card company and they say it is happening all the time and you need to read the small print. There was none! I have now put it on Facebook as it could reach a wider audience but I am still annoyed over the £4.90 which is nothing, it's a principle. Plus I now find there are lots and lots of people having been duped with them.

Oh I hate my phone at times my message didn't go through. I'd throw it against the wall but that is just too costly lol.
That company should be banded from credit card use but to not give you your 4.90 back is bull. I hate seeing people scammed like that glad you posted it so it doesn't happen to others :) hugs Nikki 8

Neet, that spray box is brilliant, I have tried several ways of protecting surfaces when spraying. Love the blue flower card at the back.
Thanks for popping over to my page, it would have been great to arrange to meet up at Event city, maybe next time we should say in advance when we are going to let people know in advance to arrange something.

Just a further comment, ring your local police and see if they have been others caught up in this scam. If they have lots of complaints they should already be investigating and if they have not, your complaint will alert them and they can begin to examine the situation.
