WOYWW 237 and a few German Shots

Quite a lot!  A last minute attempt to send out some Christmas Cards resulted in my looking through the various diecuts I had in my tin brought home from the demonstrations I had done for Oyster Stamps.  Yes, they let me bring home what I have cut - unlike the people I used to work for - that meant that this year because I do not feel like stamping I could use all those lovely diecuts I had gathered.  So you see, my desk is littered with Christmas cards.

I mentioned last week that I was breathless well a new blood test has shown that my heart is not functioning properly.  I am hoping it is just my Pacemaker that wants refiguring or whatever it is they can do with it.  Beats are very erratic and I think that it is supposed to counteract that.  Later this morning I am going for an 'echocardiogram' which should show in detail what is wrong.  Fingers crossed they can sort me out and I can still go to America (on 2nd January - yep, cutting it fine).  I would never have imagined I could have anything wrong with my old ticker - afterall I was told it was "a swinging brick" - only joking, I am sweet really.

In the meantime here is the desk

the Christmas Cake made by a friend as a gift (totally gorgeous, you can taste the brandy and it is so lovely and moist - ask Jo(zart) she had some when she called.  Will show you my pressies next time.

and here are a couple of photos from Munich the other week

Manger Market - Crib scene - full size figures carved in wood - beautiful!

Your five a day?

Don't know if you can tell but this stall is full of cookie cutters - and I never thought to buy any for Polymer Clay - Dumb Blonde!

Small Market at The Residenz

Santa, biking it, caused great hilarity with all the tourists at Haidhausen

Sendlinger Tor market

Tollwood market had a chocolate kebab stall (yes, I said chocolate).  See that stack of different layers of chocolate?  Well it was pointed at the base and the guy just scraped and scraped chocolate off then they put loads of it into a cone shaped (well it looked like a warm crepe) thing and finished it off with what seemed to be a blob of cream.  Folks just walked away eating it all - imagine that runny chocolate.  Yum Yum (no I did not indulge)

Sorry I have delayed you so long with those photos - now pop over to Julia and see what delights she has on offer and link up with lots of friends on the way.  In the meantime hope you are all a lot more organised than I am.

I really hope they can sweak your pacemaker and make everything well with your heart Neet. Love your photos.
I've had to call it a day with any more Christmas activities now cos it really isn't easy finding a working area here now so what isn't done wont get done now.
Have a great Christmas and a happy, healthy and exciting new year.
Hugs,

Oh my gosh, that cookie cutter stall is wonderful..I try to pick one up wherever we go, they are souvenirs that are actually quite useful and other countries always have such interesting shapes! Lovely views from the market I must say. Am concerned for you, hope the ECG can supply a definitive result and they can tweak with ease!

What a fantastic place to go and visit and all those cookie cutters hanging, it looks so magical. As for your health, I do hope you are alright, pacemakers or not, your heart is important you actually need it to keep going. doh...... As for the doctors they will sort it fast I hope, it would be horrible to postpone your holiday to America, gosh that would be horrible. Take care sweet lady and please let me know how you go at the doctors. Lots of hugs and love coming your way.

Happy WOYWW

Lovely photos there Neet! Sorry to hear of your heart problems - I do hope you get it sorted out and can still go to America. I presume you are going to CHA? Lucky you!
Actually you may feel better when I tell you that you are far more organised than me this year - I have yet to make my Christmas cards, put up the tree and decorations or wrap any of the presents. In my defence I have been busy with job interviews etc this week.
By the way, I have finally taken my first steps into blog land as you suggested. You can see my new blog at http://thehardystamper.blogspot.co.uk/ if you have time. Lots of love to you and Chas. x

Lovely post, Neet, but I'm sorry to read that your ticker isn't so good ... I hope the ECG results are good and you are still able to make your trip to the US as planned. I can't imagine why we don't have chocolate donor takeaways here in Scotland ... we are notorious for our love of all things sweet! Seasons greetings to you and yours, Elizabeth x #45

What a fun post, Anita!! I loved the photos and your die cut Christmas cards, too! And I'm now craving chocolate!

I did not, however, like the part about your brick ticker! That is decidedly not good. I'm glad you are having an echo and I do hope they can get it back in proper beating order with medications and that it doesn't interfere with your trip! You sort of can't put off dealing with heart problems!

Happy WOYWW and Happy Holidays! Do let us know how you are as soon as you can! Hugs, Darnell #10
