I am off to a Polymer Clay Workshop on Thursday with a couple of friends and meeting up with Irene who I missed last year because I didn't attend due to a prior commitment. Should be good fun with a weekend of girly chat and excellent tutors. Can't wait to do the class with Lindly Haunani as I admire her work so much, her sense and knowledge of colour is fantastic. Anyway, enough of that here is my desk
Got most things BUT ...
at this point I dropped a mallet on my foot! Ouch! Rubbed it and it seemed ok - until I tried to go shopping. Still not sure after icing it, resting it and rubbing arnica cream into it but I am pretty sure it is not broken. Hurts like hell though.

Close ups
Jewellery pliers etc top left, Perfect Pearls brushes, clay shapers, wooden tools, small tile, ruler, knife, blades in carriers (the spotted things - these are what we did with Lindly three years ago).
Light bulb (don't ask), Perfect Pearls plus equivalent, more shapers, soup spoon for burnishing, bits from three years ago for two of my friends.
Still got things to get together, noticeably my tiles, pasta machine, stiff toothbrush, jewellery findings etc. Just hope my foot is ok in the morning (its kind of gone midnight now). Guess I had better hit the sack and hope that Julia does not post WOYWW until I have had some sleep. See you there?

Hello beautiful lady, sorry to hear about your foot, it must be painful, keep icing it, it does help. You and I would be a great pair, you hobbling me not carrying anything, but hey art still goes on. Great desk shot this week, I can't seem to find any double sided tape anywhere on the desk. LOL
Happy crafting and WOYWW

well Julia was a day early... but we're all here now! Hope your foot feels better today, perhaps you'd better get it checked out... LOVE your busy desk, there is loads to look at. Have a fab week. Helen 13
You do get to some great workshops. I love using polymer clay, but what a lot of 'stuff' you have to take with you.
I can't do the desk-hop again this week as I am just off to the eye hospital with hubby. (I have to translate for him). They are very slow so it could be a long session!
I do hope your toe isn't broken. It will probably go some interesting colours over the next week! Hugs. Kate x
Ouch....really hope the foot is ok.

Sounds like you're going to have a fantastic weekend. You could probably do with a nice, relaxing creative break after all the working weekends recently :) Hope you're foot is better today. Looking forward to seeing photos of what you make in clay. Pxx

Hello Neet! My - your desk looks amaaazing! All the fabulous tools and interesting makes! I so envy you what sounds like it's going to be a fabulous Thursday! I bet you can't wait! Your poor foot, how painful that must have been! I hope it feels better soon and that you haven't broken anything!!! Julie Ann xx #45
Hi Neet
I don't want to spoil your fun but I really feel that you need to go and get that foot x-rayed because you may well have broken one of more bones and if broken and you continue to wall on it the healing won't happen easily.
Back to your very busy desk and what sounds like a very busy week for you. I hope everything goes to plan but just take 10 minutes out of your day to get an x-ray
Happy WOYWW have an enjoyable week hugs Ria #22

Interesting stuff on your desk - looks like a lot of fun!
Oh no! So sorry to hear about your foot. I try real hard not to leave heavy things where they can be knocked off the desk. I learned that after the one cat knocked off a heavy flashlight and it smashed his brother in the face. His check and eye swelled up and I thought a trip to the emergency vet ($$$$) was in order, but being a kitten he just shrugged it off and seemed fine. But holy cow, he could have been killed. Sorry... got distracted by two ton heavy things. I love the piles on your desk. Lots of fun tools and toys hiding in there.
Love the angle you have shot at! Lots of goodies to see! Hope your foot is ok soon. Have fun at your workshop, Chris111
WOW your desk is busy busy busy, with lots of fun stuff on it...I want to come play! I hope your foot is doing better!

Wow Neet.........what a lot of stuff (schtuff....!) you are having to take with you. Not surprised you dropped the mallet on your foot (were you taking that as well?) - poor you; hope it feels better tomorrow for your intruiging sounding workshop. Can't wait to hear and see what you got up to. Right, you'd better hop along (sorry..........!) to bed so you're ready for the next few days. Have a great time and hope your foot gets better.
Hugs.

I've really missed you and now I read that your foot is in constant pain. I hope it improves before you have to teach. Bleubeard of course, misses you as much as I and wanted me to tell you meow. OK, that was supposed to be hello (grin). Happy WOYWW from #7.
Hi Neet,
Drats. I hope your foot is feeling better soon! I hope you're able to enjoy the workshop. What you made a few years ago looks very interesting -- love the colors.
Happy WOYWW
