227 - That's WOYWW Of Course!

Before I forget - please leave your number if possible, saves a lot of messing about, especially if you have a few blogs.

Busy, busy, busy again but here is my desk as it stands this morning, or was like this when I went to bed.  Two shots of my work place

Above - where I always work
Below - where I push stuff when I have done with it

I know, it looks as if I am busy - NOT!  But I have tidied up as I could not put a pin down, it was so cluttered.  Yesterday afternoon I just gave up, caved in and tidied up - note: no dusters were involved.

So because I can't show you anything interesting here is a shot or two of our utility room - well my crafting overspill

Bits and Bobs of Beads for Jewellery

A Double Base Unit - Polymer Clay

Clay Oven

Some magazines I have been sorting for simply months (still not done) and my Finnabair stuff that I have not found a home for yet.  Ah, that's what I was going to do yesterday - hang my 12 x 12 page on the wall in my craft room.

On top of my Double Base Unit

Part of my Chinese collection from my trip years ago.  Plus a Palooza on the right leant against the wall, a lovely arch made by Samski for my birthday and a mirror I have been meaning to cover in clay tiles for years.

Now that has been a different look for you all - have any of you got a different look for me?  Now to head over to Julia's blog and see what the other WOYWW'ers got up to.  See you there!

Thanks to those of you who followed my Faux Metal tutes over the past three days do hope you give the various techniques a try.

How fantastic, a clay oven! I'd love to do some work with clay but don't know where to start. Maybe someone could suggest some classes in the UK for me? Hugs. Pam#37

Hi. I am not sharing my desk this week as it is not just tidy, but very empty. Hopefully normal services will resume next week!
Thanks for the faux metal tuts this week. I have read them all and intend to have a play very soon. Kate x

Hi Neet, it certainly is a different look at where you craft. I got to the clay oven and just had to check those were not cookery books at the side there :)) I love your little Chinese vignette. Thanks for sharing and have a happy WOYWW. Elizabeth #41
PS: Many thanks for the Faux Metal tutorial.

You may have not been busy at your desk this week, but you've certainly been a busy lady. It's a pity you can't cheat and show your weekend workspace :) Love the peeks around your craft room. Pxx

LOL! " No dusters." My room is always coated with a thin layer of embossing powder, chalk dust, Perfect Pearls and actual dust. Try tho' I may no amount of cleaning will keep it at bay.

I am determined to be early this week
Happy WOYWW!

Oh yes very tidy - does anybody use a duster in the craft room??? Ha, ha! It is nice when you have somewhere to put things when your craft room is full!
Haven't been around for a while, I am back now and will be good! :-)

Oh Neet you reminded me of my polymer clay play, I did a class with Laurie Mika and it was brilliant and I have bits put away to cover with tiles too, so don't worry you are in the same boat, pitty we can't rock it. Glad to hear the tidying reminded you of forgotten tasks at hand.

Now I do hope that Finnabair work has been hung.

Happy WOYWW

Beautifully organised and I really didn't know that you've claimed part of your utility room too. I left a phone message to thank you for my beee ooooo tee full bag. I'm so thrilled. Had trouble with leaving a message on VS again and I'm off to see CNL&L so off the radar for a while. Speak soon.

Your oics are just awesome, I even envy the tydiness :-) My things are spread everywhere too ... I hope I'm able to remember them when needed; yesterday I've been desperately looking for a vintage car stamp I KNOW I must have somewhere .. it's frustrating.
Happy late WOYWW and have a great week, Suzanne xx

I agree with Spyder, there are a few blogs where I can't comment with my wordpress ID, I either need a google+ account or blogger account, neither of which I have. (This is including Julia's blog, and there's no e-mail on it to contact her about it! It might be because of the blog make over so I'll wait a bit).
Back to you :) I love how you show a bit more then your desk - I've done the same. And my closet - I just looove the blind doors (or the wallpaper I put behind the glass so you don't see how full it is).
This WOYWW thing is kind of a revelation - I thought I was very messy and disorganized, as in most tutorials where you see desks it's extremely tidy. I know now that that is the exeption. Now your blog is not the right place to mention this, as your desk does look very tidy! (then again, you mentioned you had cleaned up).
Thank you for sharing your craft-room :)

So you have a craft room and an overspill room too! And things that you've been meaning to do for years now, I feel much better about my caddy only being three years old this Christmas, lol! I'm glad you didn't use the duster, no need to worry us all now was there!

Hugs
Brenda
PS. Bought some sealer stuff today at the craft shop!

Hi Neet,

Thanks for showing where some of your supplies are hidden away. The last photo looks like a little alter, the way it is set up.
