Went to the coast yesterday and had a lovely time, it was so warm but with that lovely breeze and I could "smell the seaside" which is a reward in itself. Where did I go? Well here is a picture of the headland - you Brits can probably guess where it is - go on - guess.
Yep - a cloudless sky
Anyway, you didn't come here to marvel at the weather so here is my desk, as left yesterday before I went to ? and it's still in the same state today.
Remnants from Saturday's class
It has been too warm to be in here - I so rarely see the sun that I have spent some time outside soaking up some of those rays. Starting left - some chipboard pieces, my squares (samples), rubber stamp, metal pieces, bag. I would love to show you the sample pieces in more detail and tell you about all the faux metal stuff I did but it will have to wait a while as I must get to bed.
Before I go, however, can I share this atc with you? It arrived whilst I was out and it is from Peggy in the Philippines. I hadn't swapped with her and she invited me to - well who could refuse to swap with Peggy (she was my first pif way back) and now look at what I got. Peggy it is exquisite and I am so proud to have this "Queen" in my collection (when it has finished being on show). Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

Hi Neet! the bottom of your desk looks like mine! Jampacked with things! You won my weekly ATC give away and I hope you will be as pleased with it as with Peggy's! Pls send me your snail mail address and I will mail it off to you- patsy.paterno (at) gmail.com. Happy WOYWWing!
Hi Neet, Glad to hear you are enjoying some sun shine. I would love to send you a couple more weeks of it from California...LOL I tried to bottle some of the cool ocean breeze last week, but it spoiled on the way home. :-(
What a gorgeous ATC you received!!

Oh wow. What a fantastic ATC. Peggy does such good work. And I loved the sea shore view. Actually more fun for this American to see than a desk (grin). Happy WOYWW from #2.
So nice to hear that you are enjoying a proper summer in the UK... and I don't recognise the place in the picture.. maybe I have been away too long!! What course did you do, sounds like fun. Love the ATC, such a lovely drawing. Annette #7
Enjoy that weather.Spoke to a lady who was buying a winter coat to go to England.I said but it's Sunmmer over there isn't it? She told me how cold it was, so you must be relishing the warmth.

That ATC is beautiful. I've never made an ATC before, but really need to try my hand at it. You are right about Peggy, she is most definitely talented. Your picture of the coast is beautiful as well. Your work space looks like mine, very busy. Have a great weekend. (((HUGS)))

Great sunny photo and beautiful ATC. Love the desk shot, I would feel so at home here.
As much as I enjoy crafting I would much rather be on that headland especially with all that, er, stash to craft around. LOL
Happy woyww
Good to see you making the most of the lovely weather - I've no idea where the photo is from but like you, I love to be near the sea. My craft room is warm too and not a lot going on in there this week either lol. Pxx
What a lovely ATC from Peggy! It is exquisitely done! I love the brocade on the bodice. This weather has been lovely here in the UK. I still can't believe it's real and I can escape to the garden away from the muddle of the unfinished kitchen! Love your tranquil seaside pic. Julie Ann #55
I really like that pink tote with all your bits it looks so handy.. The ATC is just lovely and the crown is so clever with the WOYWW logo on it so very pretty..

No - I don't know where it is but it looks lovely. What a clever thing Peggy is. Her ATC is stunning. We have been enjoying the sun thiss week - it seems so long since we had days and evenings so nice. x Jo
Hi Neet,
Gorgeous headland - but I confess I have no idea where you were yesterday!! I can see it isn't my own headland, which is the Great Orme and the little Orme.
Lovely picture from Peggy - you can know how very precious you are in God's eyes, every time you look at it!! Brilliant gift.
A good, busy desk, too - mine is messed up with things brought home from dad's - have a great week using everything there.
Margaret #66
Hi Neet, I've stared and stared and still can't decide where that is in the photograph, but it is lovely, especially the cloudless sky. I spotted some lovely bottles of painty/inky stuff on your desk - beautiful colours. Peggy's ATC is gorgeous - love the WOYWW4 crown. Hope you have a lovely day. Elizabeth x #57
Gorgeous pics of the coast and it looks like your Saturday class was amazing. I have just had a peek at Jozarty and I am amazed. You are so clever... love the ATC.

I don't recognise the headland either. I hope you're going to tell us next week where it actually is! I'm in a similar position to you. Too hot to work in my attic so went off to the beach yesterday. Wondering if your desk has changed since you took the piccy or are you still out enjoying the sun? Hope you're having fun whatever you're doing.

Peggy is such a talented lady isn’t she, that ATC is just stunning.
I’ve no idea when on the coast you were, Cornwell came to mind, but it looks like you had a wonderful day wherever you were. The nearest I got to the water over the weekend was my water feature in the garden, Lol.
Happy Crafting!

Gorgeous photo, how lovely to be able to get to the coast in this weather. I love your gorgeous ATC from Peggy as well. Thanks for sharing. Happy WOYWW. Caro x (#71)
Lucky you, you have perfect weather and one of Peggy's works of art! I just LOVE her work and find her blog so inspiring.
Love your desk too, it makes me feel right at home, just a little (maybe a lot) tidier than mine.
Happy WOYWW!
Tertia #33
You certainly don't want to waste the sunshine indoors crafting. there will be plenty of time for that when the rain returns. I'm glad you had a good day at the coast. I love that sea-side smell too and we don't really notice it here. I saw some of your metal pieces over on Jo's blog and they are beautiful. Kate x #46
Me too, clueless Brit about the headland pic - which is lovely by the way. Now, fascinated by your desk, a bit worried that you don't have enough kitchen towels...!
Lucky you! Receiving such a wonderful ATC. It is brilliant!
Happy WOYWW

How wonderful that you got away to the seaside on a lovely cloudless day, Neet! I know they are rare there, so well done ignoring the crafting and enjoying the sun while you can! Thank you for sharing that stunning ATC!!

Hi Neet! I thought you had not blogged for a while but it turns out that you were not coming up in my bloglovin reader so I have now corrected that. Thank you so much for your lovely comments, it is always a pleasure to have you visit. Hope you are still enjoying all this wonderful sunshine too! Hugs, Anne x
Nice photo of the seaside area! Ironically you were asking for hot weather in Britain, while at this same time I was sweltering in a heat wave on the East Coast of the United States and not liking it one bit. :-)
