I suspect a lot of readers will not remember those days but will have heard of them. Mary Quant may be familiar and may not be but she was a very influential Welsh fashion designer taking credit for introducing us to the Mini Skirt and Hot Pants, although two other designers also claim fame for the mini. I wore the mini - boy oh boy did I wear the mini!
Pop over to JFF and see what Von and Zoe have done - we have all created something very different this week.
I did not know what to do for this theme but in the back of my mind knew I had a stamp with a fairly MQ hairstyle so here it is - very "less is more" this week.
Now where are those photos of me in my minis?

Love your memories of the 60's! I was only born in 59 (only!!) so don't remember them quite the same...
The card hits the button though.
Love the Less is More look of your card Neet. Very stylish and gives a real visual punch. And yes, yes, yes!!! You must dig out some old photos. Your followers are now eager to see those Mary Quant halcyon days :) Px
Love the simplicity of your card Neet :) and your memories, yep legs went right up to ones armpits lol
She's very Mary Quant and if I remember geometric design in black and white featured on quite a few prints back then. Great card hope you are feeling a little better this morning XOXO Zoe
I love your card Neet and I remember the 60's very well - great times.
xxx Hazel.
Well I remember the wonderful Biba store in Kensington High Street. Never been a shop like it since! Lovely clean design Neet.
When I think of the '60s I think of black and white, minis and op art (remember that - made you dizzy). Minis were in when I first started work (1965)and my skirt didn't even reach to the top of my desk, in fact my manager told me that if I came to work in the same skirt he would send me hme t change (seem t have l_st the letter 0 n mty keyb_ard)
Hope your holidays were lovely! I'll be waiting for those pictures of you in a mini. haha! I'm having some blog candy now. Come check it out :)
Fab card Neet, what a perfect stamp for this challenge. I remember when Boots used to sell a Mary Quant make up range. xx

Neet, thanks for your lovely comments. I did come across a youtube video where she ironed on top of the wax (on top of some kitchen roll), this must absorb some of the wax and then she was then able to stamp on top of it. Something else to try! x
Hi Neet. Fabulous card. Would have loved to have seen the photos of you with a bob.
Regards Florence x
A perfect stamp for Mary Quant and oh yes those hot pants (mine were purple)I would not put my derrière in them these days LOL. Love the card you made. hugs Sandra XX
