Have Yourselves a Merry WOYWW Christmas

Let your heart be light ... Merry Christmas to all my WOYWW friends and their families.

Here's my desk - not a "C" card in sight (they are hiding around the corner)

So what's on?

Ages ago I decided to use a mountboard house I had bought at a craft show and cover it in paper which my lovely friend, Lorraine, had given to me all to do with Halloween. I had the Graphic 45 sheets with Alice on - perfect for the job.  I set to and began mounting the various Alice bits on black cardstock ready to decorate my house with.  Covered all the house pages with the papers from Lorraine and began sticking things in.

Then I had a break!  Big mistake!  Lost all my bits!

Hunted high and low for them (this was pre-Halloween I might add), had a strop or two, sulked in my room, did all the things you do but still could not find them.

Last week I was in my scrap box looking in the packet that houses black paper/card when I pulled out a poly bag - full of Alice things.  Yippee!  I had found them.  Now I am going to have a day where I finish off my house in time for Halloween 2012 - well a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do.  (and it will be such a change from Christmas).

Now hop on over to Julia's and see what the other WOYWW'ers have to offer.

My sincerest wishes for a Happy Christmas to you all. xxx

Great post, and I am so glad this happens to others. I wonder sometimes if I'm losing my mind..misplacing what I have plans for. I can't find 2 of my bone folders, and now I realize I put my husbands gifts in a "SPECIAL" place and I have yet to find them. I'll be really busy today looking.
May you and yours have a wonderful Holiday and Happy WOYWW.

Haha I'm sure all us crafty types can relate to this post. i know I've done just the same. Normally, it's when I'm having the occasional tidy up and clear-out that I come across stuff I'd "lost" or "misplaced". lol. Or I discover the perfect embellishment which I could have used on that project I just this minute finished etc. And I agree, how nice it is to make projects that have nothing to do with the festive season. Have a wonderful Xmas my friend & see you in the New Year. Pxxxxx

Isn't it nice when we find things that we thought we lost??? It happens to me all the time - it is just so unfortunate that we have to go through the stress of looking for them in the first place! Ha, ha...
Have a lovely Christmas and enjoy your Halloween 2012 making!
Lots of hugs,

What a darling little house! It's the panic while looking for things you know you had that puts us in an uncomfortable tither! Glad you found them! Thanks for the peek and have a Wonderful Christmas and All The Best for 2012

Great to be doing a bit of non Christmas related stuff. You look so organised! Got up at 6.15 this am, went to the loo, linked up, it was dark, the heating hadn't kicked in so I went back to bed!!

Neet - there is NOTHING worse that losing your bits, unless it is having someone trim your bush when you'd rather it be left alone...

hope your trees, bushes bits and bobs are all very beautiful and christmassy now and through out 2012 (I bet they are)

much love,

dx

Nothing like being ahead of the game. I know the feeling of frustration it causes when you can't put yout hand on something that you know just has to be there. When the handfork goes missing when I'm gardening I know now to 1st check the rubbish bin!!!! Hope you have a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year to you. Hugs Mrs A.

Oh, if I were given a tenner for every time I've done something similar I'd be able to blow it on an awful lot of Graphic45 and Alice elements :)) Look forward to seeing your completed house. In the meantime, enjoy the change from all things Christmassy. Merry Christmas! Elizabeth x #46
