I had heard all about Muscle Beach so we headed off for Venice Beach which I understood incorporated Muscle Beach. I was rather surprised to see the front completely littered with shops and stalls selling all sorts of weird and wonderful things. Last year we had gone to Haights Ashbury in search of a bit of "flower power" and I had been disappointed that I had not seen any 'hippies' - well, I guess they all relocated to Venice Beach.
No, I was not tempted

Then it was time to head home, call for something to eat and get a reasonable night's rest in readiness for THE SUPERBOWL PARTY!

Ahh look at all that sun!!!!!!!!!! I'm sat here reading your warm post with ice cold tootsies. I'm thinking I'll be taking a hot water bottle to bed with me. Don't worry about the blue tinted photos, they can be colour corrected with photoshop - chat to me about it when you return. Pxx
I quite like the sky that lilacy colour - the one with the gulls is great!!
Hi Neet
I actually love the blue tinge to the photos, makes them look oldy worldy. The beach looks fab especially lined with all those wacky shops (and people!!!!)
