Nearly Forgot (Again)

I forgot last week - well to be truthful I got my days muddled and didn't realise it was Wednesday until Friday.  Yes, I lost the plot!  What am I on about - I forgot to do my WOYWW where we all go to Ms Dunnitt's blog and show off our workspaces; good or bad, something to show or nothing.  I did visit one or two blogs but if I didn't get round to yours I apologise.  Whilst I am here though HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL THE WOYWW'ers - ideal time to wish you all a happy, safe and crafting new year.

Well I have had a terrible time searching all over these past few days for my Mojo.  Gone completely on  vacation and never even had the decency to leave a forwarding address.  Think he took my typing fingers with him as I am making the most ridiculous typos and this post is taking ages as I have to keep correcting.  Guess I should leave it there.

Last night I took my 40 or so beautiful hand-made Christmas cards down and began making a list on the computer so that I can write to the various friends to thank them for the beautiful cards they sent.  As a consequence this is what my desk looks like this morning.

I need to ask Julie who makes the stamps she used (bottom left) because I just love them both.  Especially the one with the "Figgy Pudding" sign outside the shop.  I don't want to single out any cards as they are all beautiful but thought I would stand the cut out one at the back up so you could see it.  That's from my friend, Audrey.  Right, got to leave it there - it's time to get linking.

Do pop over to Julia's blog and join in the fun.

Beautiful cards Neet, some treasures there. Hope you get your mojo back very soon! It won't be long now before we get some sunshine but I know you've had more snow which won't help. Hope you make it Saturday to the workshop.

I know what you mean about the days being all muddled up! I missed WOYWW last week too because it was suddenly Friday!
I know your mojo will be back soon, it probably just needed a little rest after all the Xmas "festivities"
Happy Crafty New Year!

Ah MMS {missing mojo syndrome}, yes a common occurrence to arty types such as yourself, often occurs after big calender events... best treatment for this is play, don't set out to make anything, just faff, add ink to paper, or doodle, maybe watch a Utube vid,or admire the gifts you may have been given by other arty types, but in your mind have no notion your making something, your just playing.. and more often than not it leads to something!
Failing that stuff your face with chocs and surf some desks lol
Hope it returns soon, mines a bit hit and miss at the minute too!
Happy New Year to you

I have the problem. My mojo went on vacation and everything I do turns to muddled messes. Glad to see you back this week. You got some pretty super cards for your collection. I'm impressed. Happy WOYWW from #16.

I know exactly what you mean about mojos. I think they have all gone on holiday together!!! Must be all this relaxing during Christmas!!
How wonderful to receive all these beautiful cards. If I'm not sticking my nose in the figgy pudding sign card is one by Sheena Douglas. It's been one of my favourite makes this year!!

That's an amazing display of handmade cards you've got there, Neet! I'm sure you were releuctant to take them down! I think the figgy pudding image is a Sheena Douglass one from Creative Expressions (could be wrong).

You're right, beautiful cards, all for different reasons, so no one is more lovely than another. Guess your mojo likes a bit of routine (like mine!); he'll come back when he realises the days are back in the right order!!
